| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia extreme depresion set in when the votes were read. I'm still devastated today. I am the biggest Amanda fan of all time (and Ozzy). A day later and I'm still in shock. Parvati over Amanda? Who made this mistake and why? Typical bitter jury. 3 Stupid fans, 1 immature Eliza, 1 frustrated Cirie and 3 smart people (James, Ozzy and Eric sort of hehe). One of the top 3 players of all time going back to back Survivors, 78 days, winning challenges, rewards and peoples' hearts along the way and she loses to a conniving tart. The world is a messed up place and my heart goes out to Amanda. I'll never forget Eliza for her cold blooded cowardess. Of course if Amanda did make a mistake it was not defending herself better and TC. And giving Cirie a straight answer. She thought it was in the bag and stop playing while Parvati played to the final moment with sneaky vote getting Thank god she won the GRAND PRIZE> Ozzy. |

Amanda blew it with the jury. it would have been close, but I think she could have swayed at least one vote for a tie, possibly two for the win, if she'd done better with the jury. Funny, she'd just seen Todd butter up John Robert for a vote in China... she could have learned from that, but she didn't. Too bad, I would have loved to see her win, but she just can't handle the jury, where games are won, or in Amanda's case, lost ![]()

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia Oh my god! Amanda! Didn't you learn anything from Todd?!?? She was better than last finale, but still she couldn't articulate herself well. She should have told Cirie why it would have been a mistake to take her to the final 2 instead of Parvati because Cirie was deserving more and would have done great in the finale. After hearing how incapable Amanda was in the final TC, I think Parvati really deserved to win. |

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia Sorry if this question has already been addressed but wondering: If Parvarti won the Final IC, who would she have brought to final two..Cirie or Amanda. And who would Cirie have brought if she won the Final IC, Amanda or Parvarti. |

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia Cirie would have brought Parvati, and I bet Parvati would have brought Amanda. They had their word to go to the very end together, and Parvati knew she wasn't going to beat Cirie. |

I don't think Parv was asked (from what I've read), but I think on the same note, everyone was afraid to face Cirie in the finals. According to Cirie, most of the jury at Ponderosa told her she lost the million by being voted out -i.e. they would have voted for her, and Parv would have known this and felt the same way, so she would have taken Amanda as easier to beat, in addition to looking better to the jury for sticking by her #1 alliance girl.

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia Sorry Amanda didn't win - but she did the win heart of Ozzy. And, in the end, she'll probably be happier being in love with a great guy than have $1 million. Parvati's win just goes to show that the good guy or (in this case) gal rarely wins in this sort of a "contest". The very essence of the show "Survivor" rewards the player who is the most devious and underhanded. In fact, the term "out play" reinforces this concept. While it makes for good entertainment, it should bother our consciences and those of the players more than it does. Oh well, guess that's why sociopaths like Richard Hatch, guiltless liars like Johnny Foreplay and countless of other people we wouldn't want as friends are cast for this show. |

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia In an interview Parvati mentioned she "might" have lost the last IC on purpose knowing that whoever won would probably lose the person's jury vote on who they voted out. Amanda said she and Parvati promised not to bash each others games, so she was a little surprised when Parvati did that. It would have been interesting to see how it would have stacked up if they had a final 3. Parvati may have finished third rather than winning the whole thing. I think in Amanda's case, she's one of those people that in the end can't be down and dirty and/or doesn't want to own up to the fact that may have done something shady. Some people have won Survivor by sitting next to the true mastermind in the game who also made the most enemies and became extremely unlikeable as a result, and some people have lost to that person as well. She always goes on about wanting to play an honest and loyal game, which is fine and dandy, but it ain't written in the Survivor handbook that that's a trait they look for in a winner. |

| Re: Amanda (China) - Micronesia I wonder why she was surprised. That sounds just like something Parvarti would do. |

But yes, the thought had entered my mind that if you're sure you'll get taken to final 2 anyway, that's very smart to 'lose' and not be the lone bad guy who was directly responsible for removing you from the game when you could practically taste the million.
