I just can't see Amanda being an early target. To me, she has the presence (which she is gifted with for a show like Survivor) that makes you think, "Eh, I'll deal with you later. Got bigger fish to fry right now."

She stated in her interview for the preview that she was going to put her strategy out in the open rather than make it seem like she's riding coat tails. Hopefully it works for her.

How stupid can you get? First, make the statement that you need to keep the canoodling with Ozzy kind of hidden, then start making out thisclose to everyone else that night. I'm hoping they send Amanda home first, just for being that dumb.

Just like Parvati saying in the first episode that she had done flirting before, now she had to use another strategy; just before going after James

I expected this from Parvati, though. Amanda has disappointed me (so far).

Amanda is very clique-ish and it's very apparent. I think she's gorgeous but the clique-attitude sucks.

I seem to remember that Amanda sucked at doing puzzles in the last survivor as well, or am I remembering wrong?

Love Amanda in China, thought she played an amazing game bar the dreadful final tribal council where she stumbled totally.

In this season, she is just playing a 'meh' game to me. She doesn't seem to be performing well in challenges, and is playing an even more UTR strategy than in China.

One question in my mind is, if she had so solidly stuck with Todd in China, would she do the same with Ozzy this season?

I was never a big fan of Amanda and never disliked her either, I was kind of "meh" where she's concerned.
She flat out irritated me last night though.
Check the clues Amanda. You weren't informed about the decision to boot Ozzy, you weren't picked to share in the cake reward.
Now, that may seem insignificant, but imo Natalie showed very graphically who her alliance mates are when she decided who'd get to share the cake.
Amanda should know she's fifth on the totem pole in that alliance.
Take Jason aside after the IC and at least float the idea that he needs to consider teaming with her James and Eric.
Let him know that Parvati and her alliance are voting him out. Force the tie, tell him to use the idol and one of the four female alliance goes.
Don't just stand in the background looking gormless and meekly go along with a plan that has you set to leave in fifth at best.

When it came to last night's decision by Amanda, I'll give it time to see if it was the right decision. I think it was. She/Parvati/Cirie had an alliance in the very beginning that at the end they were going to take out Ozzy/James in the final 5 and go to the final 3 together. Maybe that'll still happen. Given who Amanda had to align with with the men, I think it was the best decision for her. Besides, if they got rid of Parvati like I'm sure James would have wanted to, that would have left just 3 favorites in the game compared to 4 fans, who would have taken over. Personally, I think there's going to be more to this women's alliance than a predictable boot the guys, then Amanda, and then Parv/Natalie/Alexis go to the final 3.

If things do work out for Amanda my guerss is that'll be because Parvati decides to honour that original alliance and cut Natalie and Alexis loose.
Parvati's made decisions without consulting Amanda and I haven't seen Amanda take an active role in promoting herself to the final three.
She's just hanging in there from what I can see at this point, hoping things work out for the best.
I'm eager for her to prove me wrong though.
