Either way, you are invested in the ending of each show and that keeps you coming back for more (I base this on several reality tv elimination shows). But, like I said, I have never really concentrated on picking up the survivor 'tells.' Can someone provide more examples? If this is the pattern, featuring the F5 towards the beginning of the season, then I can see Erinn making final 3, mostly because she is UTR, can easily bond with Sierra (and thus Brendan) and Jeff seemed to speak very highly of her in the TV Guide preview.
Editing in the beginning episodes usually gives away who will not win, but those people may still go far. A good example is Susie last season...with the way she was edited, there was no way she was going to win but she still went far (other examples include Becky, Cassandra, Natalie). If any of them were winners, they would have been featured a lot more so that the audience can get to "know" the eventual winner. The only exception I can think of is Danni. Some examples from this season are Sydney and Joe. People barely remember they're on the show right now, so their chances of winning are almost nil. At the same time, the editors don't want the winner to be too "in your face" at the beginning of the season, which is why someone like Ben will most likely not win. Some recent examples of this type of edit are Ace, James, Jean-Robert. The reason is because the editors don't want the winner to be obvious to the audience.

Re: Survivor Tocantins *Spoilers and Speculation*

Okay, I do not watch Survivor but do read the post on this site. First question, how many days are they on survivor? The reason I ask this is b/c my friend lives in Auburn and she is friends with Debbie/Debra and she told my friend that it was the worse 37 days of her life. So, this leads my friend to believe that she made it at to the finales. So, how many days are they there? Also, her husband went out of the country during the time that Debbie was on a leave of absence from the middle school.

Oh no! If this is true and Debbie made F5 then it is quite likely that Coach did too (they seem to be in an alliance). Errrr.

But, isn't it possible that she included time at the "Ponderosa" or whatever they call the holding pen for the evicted Survivors? That might not have been Debra's idea of fun at all either. Just saying...

Or--have you looked at his website? He strikes me as actually such a poser that he might not clean up or eat much while at the booted-out camp just to push the illusion that he is about to win as long as he can, for the attention!

Family visit is after jury--so"if" he went she is at least day 20+
