| Re: Survivor Micronesia: Interview with Erik - "The dumbest thing I could have done." Also wanted to say, that comment about Joel...the angry dad with dinner not ready....Is that coming from his own experiences at home? My dad would never have gotten angry if dinner were late, so that description would never have occurred to me...but my college roommate's abusive dad would get furious, throw the food, literally. Saw it myself. I also think it's a good description of Joel. Wonder if he does steroids. In those clips where he's dragging Chet through the challenge he looks like the Incredible Hulk on a bad day. |

| Re: Survivor Micronesia: Interview with Erik - "The dumbest thing I could have done." The big guys get hungry. That was one of the main complaints about James in his China season - practically everyone mentioned he was short-tempered and moody all the time because he was hungry. When you have all those muscles you need a heck of a lot more calories to get through the day, and the big guys feel it more.

That is, would you consider it a "normal" dad thing to be that irritable if dinner wasn't ready when he was ready to eat? It wouldn't have been in my family growing up, but seemed to be in his. | |
