I saw none of what you are talking about in the parts I highlighted when she was on the show or in the interview. Like she said, she was just being herself. Being herself is what got her in trouble if she would have hid what she was I believe she would have went a lot further.

Thanks for the great interview Hepcat, there were some great questions and answers.

Terrific interview once again, Hep! I loved the great questions and responses. It's nice to feel that you get to "know" these folks better through the interviews.

Thanks, hepcat! You got some great insight into personalities at Fei Long.

Leslie says the religious talk at camp was minimal. Well, of course it was, if the ears weren't receptive. Once at Zhan Hu though, the walls of Jericho came tumblin' down. She didn't try to keep anything to a minimum.

It's like any subject in life that you're passionate about Sports, Politics, Religion or whatever the subject. You'll talk to someone about it and if they don't want to hear it, if you're a normal human being you'll move on and try to find out what you do have in common and also if the person you're talking to is passionate about the same thing you won't hold back.

Absolutely. But she's claiming to be a creation of editing, and that's not what I saw. I saw a women that, say Jaime turned into the biggest coat-tailing lay about since Katie, and was up against Amanda in the final two. I could hear Leslie saying, "gosh, you worked your butt off Amanda, you won all those individual challenges, but I have to vote for the Christian, because to do otherwise just wouldn't feel right". Aaron was smart to get rid of her before Courtney or Jean-Robert.

And....Leslie...if a person doesn't share your beliefs, or anyone's for that matter, why are they "cynical". That sounds cynical, and a bit snide and elitist, IMO.

Yes, and it’s not that I’m ashamed of my faith or anything, or what I did, because I think I did the right thing. But it really put a spotlight on, this is what I’m about. I didn’t really want people to know that about me coming out of the starting gate because they immediately judge you.
I actually thought it was good that Jeff pointed that out. She stood by her beliefs and this was one consequence of it. Why wouldn't he?

Thanks for interview Hepcat!!

I liked Leslie - good for her. It takes no effort to blend in and morph into what everyone else believes (or doesn't believe). She stood up and took a chance because she believed it.
