| Our Interview with Ryan Opray Ryan Opray, or "RynO", was the most recent ex-Morgan eliminated from Survivor, in what looked like a Pagonging waiting to happen. We had a chance to ask him some questions, and here's what he had to say: When did you find out that Darrah and Tijuana voted for you and what as your reaction? I was pretty upset, being that Andrew, Osten, and I busted our asses to get them where they are now. I could understand if it was vital to vote me out, but it wasn't. They did this for no real reason but to look better in the others eyes. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. It seemed like you knew your fate was sealed as soon as Lill jumped to the ex-Drakes. What did you do to try to save yourself that we may not have seen, and why don't you think it worked? Everything I tried was used later to get rid of King Rupert. I told Jon and Burton to take me, T and Darrah and try to overthrow the alliance between Lill, Rupert, Christa and Sandra. But both the weasels used my idea after I was gone and voted off Rupert then. You had some harsh words for Christa in your "final words", that seemed excessive for what we were shown. What didn't we see that caused that? Christa said things each day to irritate me, it was like the straw that broke the camel's back.Things like,"Hey Ryno how's it feel to be next", or "How's it feel to know your leaving". She accused me of stealing oranges, but in reality I think she did or Sandra ate them. I guess it was easy to lie and help get me out. Obviously the tribe listened to her. Andrew and Lillian both have said that you were instrumental in voting Lill off instead of Darrah early in the game. Why did you want to keep Darrah so badly? Darrah in my eyes seemed to be stronger than Lill. She helped win two immunities single-handedly. Everyone thinks we are dating or are together and that could have been the reason for Lill's dismissal. That's not the case though, she was tough and I knew I could count on her. What was your strategy going into the game, and how did that work out for you? I wanted to be easy going, work hard and not rock the boat. Physically I guess I was too strong to keep around. Being voted out 8-1 is a compliment, but it still hurt. When Rupert came over to Morgan, it seemed like you two really bonded. Did you try to work that to your advantage when you merged? Yeah, I tried to get Rupert to keep me in the game longer, but I guess he wasn't interested. He seemed like he didn't trust me and that hurt. He was one person at Drake that I felt would help my end game. Tell us about Pete the Pelican. Did he come around more than just that one day that we saw? Were you feeding him? No, Pete was there only one day. He was sick and that's why he was so approachable. Maybe he figured in his last moments he would like to be around someone. Who knows maybe he was a little lonely. Living near the ocean (Santa Cruz) pelicans are not that friendly, but they all have personalities. Pete will always be on my mind. I'm gonna miss him. Before Osten quit, did you have any discussions about getting rid of him? And would you have voted to eliminate him that night if he hadn't thrown in the towel? It was either between Osten and Darrah, but I had a sub-alliance that involved Darrah. So there was no way I was going to let her down. Osten looked terrible and wanted out. I felt bad cause he's a friend of mine but he was ok with it. What is your opinion on the "twist" with the Outcasts? I didn't like it! The whole premise of the show is outwit, outlast and outplay. It seemed like a nightmare when they came back and it was. Too bad I didn't get voted out earlier so I could come back. I hate to bring it up, but you've got to be the only person in the world who would list "Vanilla Sky" as their favorite movie, so I have to ask why is it on your list? It was actually favorites list not favorite. So there where others. By the way you have to be the only person in the world to ask this question. To answer your question I liked it, strange but true. I'm sure Tom Cruise liked it also, so that makes two people hahaha! There you have it, folks. Thanks to Ryan for taking the time to answer our questions, and again to CBS for allowing us the opportunity! | |

| Great interview, John! Thanks, Rhino, for not shying away from the controversial answers to John's questions.

| Thank you so much John and Ryan! Great interview. Just another thing, is it just me or Christa really seems to be a whole different person from what we've seen on the show so far? (from what he says about her in this interview) Anyway, congratulations to Ryan on at least making the Jury. |
