Gabon does perfectly fine Survivor style beaches. Damn.
But with elephants, so that's something at least.

I think the lesson here is that Juries nowdays prefer a hard headed "I know I was Evil, but I did what I had to do." line more than a "I love you all. I'm sorry I'm sorry."

Cirie had no reason to be bitter about not making F2. She admitted after the challenge that her profession gave her an advantage in the final IC and Amanda has been suffering the down side of back to back Survivors. Amanda believed that Parvati was the mastermind behind the power, because Parvati told her she was. Cerie should have taken the time at final TC to spell out for both of them why she was the real power player in the game.

Eliza berates Parv for saying mean things about her and then says mean things about Amanda, which explains why no one liked her in the game.

I think James, Ozzy and Amanda were the top 3 vote getters, because they were likeable and loyal in the show. Cerie played the best game, but is clearly not a nice person and doesn't inspire loyalty in others.

Does anyone know how the votes went? I was shocked that Parv won. I never saw that coming and only expected her to get a max of 3 votes (Nat, Alexis, Cerie). Well Parv may have trouble ever meeting someone interested in a meaningful relationship after her tell all at TC, but the mil will attract a lot of losers from both sexes.

I'm happy for Ozzy and Amanda and hope for the best.

Jeff forgot to mention one of the most shocking things that happened was Cerie starting a fire after TC one night.

The Africa season looks dangerous for the contestants.

Agreed. Though they go with the warmer climes for the eye candy factor, I'd love to see one in a cold or high altitude environment. My first choice would be Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal.

Amanda should have totally gone cuthroat instead of crying. She should have confronted Parv and suggested that Parv "threw the challenge" so that she wouldn't have to make the decision. She should have told Cirie that she's pretty darn sure, that Cirie would have taken Parv and she had no choice but to win the competition...

Cirie may have just been bitter that the game blindsided her, as she said it, and got screwed out of a million. She would have voted Amanda off and she knew it, so I wish Amanda had turned the tables on her somehow. Cirie herself said that Amanda/Parvati had a strong bond and she was the third wheel in the alliance so why was she surprised? I believe Amanda's emotions and while people and the jury may tire of emotions and the doe eyes, I think they can also cut her a break. A lot of people have gotten screwed over by twists in this game. Cirie can join the club.

Maybe that's why Natalie was going that way with her questioning That has to go down as the most bizarre thing ever said at a TC. Even more strange than Tom during Africa asking why a hyena licks their behind. I did think Eliza would vote for Amanda over Parvati so that's the only thing that really surprised me. The rest of the votes went just the way I expected.

I'm happy for Ozzy and Amanda and hope for the best.

Me too Ozzy seemed a little vague in some of his interviews. I was hoping it was just him being private/tired of being asked the question and not because they weren't really together. I was worried that's where he was going tonight.

I was kind of disappointed with the reunion show tonight. Jeff got all the good stuff in. I noticed he didn't really spend as much time with the final 2 and the winner as he usually does.

Good question. I'm still wondering why they went for a final 2.

In the fall, most likely in September. I think pretty much all the fall seasons have started then. Probst is going out to film in June.

Omg, no!

I really did like Parv, but I seriously wanted Amanda to win. And as much as I love, love, love Amanda, I kinda embarrassed for her. She went to the final twice. Twice! And lost both times.

The reunion is going on right now. I'm gonna step away from my computer and watch it.
