And if they get exposed there is no way a five is happening.
A solid 4 in a merge of 10 is absolutely fine as long as it's kept secret. Take for instance this hypothetical scenario, merge of: Stephen, Taj, JT, Spencer, Sandy, Joe from Jalapao with Brendan, Sierra, Tyson, Ben from Timbira. The Jalapao members have a 6-4 advantage and think then can Pagong the Timbira tribe. Ben is annoying so he's gone then with a 6-3 advantage, Sandy gets on everybody's nerves and she gets booted since Jalapao doesn't need her anymore. With a 5-3 advantage, they boot Tyson next because Stephen and Taj convince them not to boot Brendan or Sierra. Now it's a 5-2 advantage for Jalapao who think they have the game in their hands. BAM, secret alliance of Taj, Brendan, Sierra and Stephen now have a 4-3 advantage on the rest of the players. Why would Stephen abandon his original alliance to go with the secret alliance? Simple, there are 2 multi-millionaires in the secret alliance and it'd be a lot easier to win.

Now I'm not saying it will work like this or work at all, but it is definitely plausible and it would be brilliant to watch.

Taj picking Stephen is a wrong pick I think. Stephen is now closer to JT apperantly, so I doubt the secret four will be a success. If they two are sent to exile once more next week, they both will have a huge target on their back, especially Taj. That 'Coach' is now jealous of Brendan so who knows what's going to happen?

I agree that Coach is jealous of Brendan, but if he is going to "change the face of this game", or whatever it was he said to Brendan in the first episode, and make it about the strong surviving until the end and then duking it out like samuris or vikings or some other honorable group that lived for nothing other than to find an opponent worthy of killing them (I'm paraphrasing Coach's idiotic one-on-one confessional also from the first episode), then he needs to keep Brendan around.

All they have to do is find two among the other six who are willing to vote for anyone not on their alliance. Each of the four can sound out a couple people. They don't even have to focus on the same boot. The problem will be surviving the merge.

I agree with whoever said Taj's pick of Stephen, considering his tightness with JT, is probably a bad idea.

Re: Survivor Tocantins *Spoilers and Speculation*

Sydney & Joe have been practically invisible, and Spencer hasn't been shown a lot either, even though he is the youngest Survivor player in history. We see Sydney finally getting some attention in the previews, so I think Jalapao loses and the Taj, JT, Stephen alliance brings in Sandy to vote her off. I think that alliance will then vote out Joe with Spencer following after him.

Based off of screentime and editing, I think the following people make the merge..

Timbira- Coach, Tyson, Brendan, Sierra, Erinn, Debbie
Jalapao- JT, Stephen, Taj, Sandy

JT would most likely go first seeing as how he's an immunity threat. He's not in the secret Exile alliance either, so they'll have no problem with voting for him. He doesn't make the jury though.
Erinn would be voted off next after Coach and other Timbira members won't trust her.
Sandy can be disposed of next after the Exile Alliance decides they don't need her.
Now the Exile Alliance has a 4-3 advantage. I predict Coach gets immunity, so Tyson is the next to go.
The Exile Alliance now has a 4-2 advantage. Sierra and Brendan decide to vote Taj off next to appear like they're with the Timbiras.
Coach is blindsided next, followed by Debbie since she's kept her hands clean of any blood.
This sets up a final 3 of Stephen, Sierra, and Brendan. I see Sierra somehow winning the last immunity and backstabbing Brendan because she thinks he's too big of a final 2 threat. I feel like Taj asking Brendan if he could trust Sierra last episode had some sort of foreshadowing effect to it.

Sierra gets votes from Erinn and Debbie
Stephen gets votes from Sandy, Taj, Coach, Tyson, and Brendan

Probst said there were a lot of blindsides this season, so I think this would fit. Erinn, Sandy, Tyson, Taj, Coach, Debbie, and Brendan would be blindsided. Spoilers point to Coach making it deep into the merge with Debbie so this also fits. Just my little scenario..

Probably because you'd have the same reaction in real life---judging by that website Coach is NOT being misedited...he's truly the egotistical creep he seems to be.

I was thinking about the same thing. And yet, Coach apparently has included useless-seeming Debra as part of his plan, at least so far, and talked everyone into voting out Candace, who is obviously much stronger....maybe it should be "the strong , at least those who let me rule everything, survive, along with anyone who kisses my ass enough to keep my ego stoked".

Re: Survivor Tocantins *Spoilers and Speculation*

I've been thinking about why Brendan was not able to dig up the idol that first week....maybe it had been removed? The two of them certainly knew what a pace was and his hole was huge! I'm thinking maybe the two women flown in by helicopter only had that one period to look for it, and if they didn't take the opportunity, or if it wasn't found in that time slot the idol was removed. By the time Sierra got Brendan involved too much time had gone by.
