That's what I'd been saying all along, that he was way more deserving of being there than Lill and Burton. But I've harped enough on how I hated the twist.

I liked Andrew from the beginning. He seems like a hardworking guy with a lot of heart. He's just not flexible/adaptable/subtle enough to win a game like Survivor. A "Leading by Example" strategy was shown to be risky in S1 and hasn't worked for anyone yet.

Thanks for getting the interview, John!

So Andrew says again that he did tell Lil she was going to be voted out that night. Why is it on the show we kept seeing her complain about Andrew not telling her? Somehow I find Andrew more trustworthy - Lil holds a big grudge against him whereas she wasn't really registering on his radar.

Great interview. I also liked Andrew a lot more after he held all that weight. The tears in his eyes showed how much that meant to him, and that made me respect him more. I also really hate this twist of people coming back.

Thank you John and Andrew for this interview.

Andrew, I have to say that I held somewhat of a grudge against you for what appeared to be your treatment of Ryan S. For all your commitment to teamwork, it seemed as if you and others were scapegoating him. He had some good ideas, and it seemed as if the Morgan tribe wasn't willing to own up to having made a mistake by leaving the market too soon. So it was easy to blame Ryan S, rather than accept responsibility for the market failure.

At the same time, I know that as a viewer my interpretations of events are somewhat controlled by what Burnett chooses to portray and show. In this interview you are sincere and you show a strength of character. Thank you for your thoughtful responses.

John, thanks for getting this interview. Andrew doesn’t disappoint with his diplomacy. He may not have been the best leader on Survivor, but unlike one scoutmaster we know, he showed loyalty to his deserving tribe members.

My most vivid memory of Lill and the Morgans was the night she came on a boat and Andrew, T, Darrah and Ryno walked over in the rain to welcome her back. My mental picture was that of the queen being respectfully welcomed by her royal subjects. And we all saw how the queen promptly turned them! It’s sad that Lill preferred to play this game emotionally. If for her the game was about getting personal validation and tribal acceptance, she would have been better off in the Dr. Phil show than in Survivor.

We never got a chance to see how far Andrew could have gone in the game, and he has Lill's enmity and bitterness to thank for it!

Thanks Andrew for taking the time to do the interview.

I never really liked Andrew, so I wasn't sad that he left. He wasn't much of a leader, and as Shayla pointed out, he tried to blame a lot of things on Skinny Ryan and on others when things went wrong. Although, he did impressive me alot with his determination during the weight contest.

Also, Lill was voted out so she did not owe any allegiance to the Morgans. Once there is a merge, it's everyone for themselves. We all know the twist was wrong, but he should've adapted quicker and worked on the deal with Rupert (which I didn't know about until now) if he knew that Lill held a grudge against them. I only go by what I see on TV, so there could've been more to it. As always, this is just my opinion.

Thanks John for getting these interviews to us.
