| Survivor 1 Sue Hawk question Mods: I don't know if this is in the right area. But I figured Survivor fans of the first one would more likely be at this forum so move it if you want. Also looked in the Survivor archives but didnt see anything. My question. In the first Survivor, Kelly and Sue were pretty good friends. Then for some reason Sue turned on Kelly. I never figured out why or what happened. Does anyone remember? Please help! This bugs me everytime I see old clips of Sue turning on Kelly at the finale. |

| It was the final four - Rich, Kelly, Rudy and Sue. Kelly had immunity. The voting went down like this.... Rich voted Sue Kelly voted Rich Rudy voted Sue Sue voted Rich A tie! So they voted again and Kelly switched her vote to Sue, thus sending Sue home. And so the most famous speech during the final tribal council was born!!

| Sue was also cranky with Kelly for playing both sides. She felt betrayed because she thought of Kelly as a close friend and confidante. And she may have been exactly that, but she was also a competitor, and Sue lost sight of that fact.

Thanks to everyone who responded. That sounds like the Sue I remember. I too wanted Kelly to win. I wonder what set Sue off in the first place about the loyalty issue? Did Rich have his evil hand in there somewhere? | |

| Like Gervase said at the final TC, Sue was a sore loser..period.. On more than one occasion, prior to her alleged betrayal, she said she was gonna vote Kelly off, but Kelly kept winning the IC's. Sue got beat at her own game and she could'nt hanlde it. So, 3 years later its still good ridddance to her. |

Thanks for adding more of the history between Kelly and Sue guys! I remembered it, but didn't want to get any of the details wrong in my post.
