| Re: Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden *Spoilers and Speculation* The original cast just didn't work for survivor so they change several people out.

![]() At first I thought you were saying that the replacement cast didn't blend well together at all. That would have been bad.

| Re: Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden *Spoilers and Speculation* I'll be bummed if S20 is the last one. I really enjoy Survivor, haven't missed a show since it started. Are the ratings really that low? I mean, sure, in comparison to other shows like Grey's Anatomy or American Idol maybe they aren't great, but I'm sure they are still pretty steady and bring in advertisers for the network. I know it's probably too much to ask, but I'd like Survivor to just keep going, as long as it still remains watchable. To me it is, I really enjoyed the last season even though I didn't care for the winner all that much. ![]() |

It's not bad, and it still wins its timeslot, which is very impressive for a show that has been around for 8 years and has had 16 seasons. But yeah, compared to other seasons, Micronesia had the lowest ratings ever.

Technically, didn't they do the old vs young for EI, and it only lasted one episode. Besides, you get a season like Survivor Africa and on one tribe it's old vs young by accident. So if what Erik says is true, is this another Bobby Jon/Stephenie where two people from Micronesia went back to play? If so, another ) So I take it filming is over by now. I guess we should prepare for spoilers to start leaking out. But Survivor is one of those shows I could see being brought back in the future. It's too bad that Survivor 20 will be the last one, but I remember Probst once saying they wanted to go out when people were still watching and wanted them on, rather than be getting 5 million viewers and have everyone be begging for the show to be put to rest (and of course resort to any lame stunts). | |

Erik said he was asked, So I'm just assuming that when he said no they asked others to go. Today is day 39.

| I'm Chloe. How ya doin'? | Re: Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden *Spoilers and Speculation* Survivor should focus on locations, rather than twists. The game is fine the way it is. A great location can add so much to a season. I would love to see Survivor: Nepal and Survivor: Patagonia, back to back. From the top of the world to the bottom of the world. If there are just three seasons after Gabon, I hope they go all out with location, instead of twists and buried idols. 34 days and counting! |
