I'm really against re-cycling old players onto other (or the same show they made their original appearance on) reality shows. Ozzy has had his chance. Two appearances on Survivor are one too many. And definitely the same to the infamous Rob and Amber. There are plenty of new faces out there who would love to get to compete. Give more people a chance.

Be Honest isn't in the Survivor creedo. But to be honest here, Outlast is all you really need to do to potentially win Survivor. People have won this game not doing a damn thing. Fortunately in this one, Parvati did do things that got her and Amanda to the end. Her girls alliance was brillent and insured her of getting to final three, easily. Her helping Amanda get rid of Alexis kept Amanda in the game and turned the tide for Cirie and Amanda. She did play the game, so I am ok with her win, tho I would have prefered Cirie or Amanda got it.

Of course you do, lonewriter, didn't mean to imply otherwise, I was just really surprised by your opinion and trying to understand it, not being sarcastic with you. (That's the trouble with just typing, even with emoticons.) Usually on FORT though, when people have "minority" opinions they explain their reasoning (which you did later, above). I have to say I agree with AsIs and disagree with your reasoning as to why he should win Survivor, but we can agree to disagree. Seems to me your reasoning is why he got the $100K prize though...people like the personality we see on the show.
And some people do like just looking at James even though he might not be the sex that attracts them... the guy is like a Greek statue! Nice aesthetically!

It is probally why I won't be watching Survivor anymore, not because of who won, I could care less. It just seems that every year it's always the worst type of person who wins this show. I don't like liars and I don't like them getting rewarded for it. Also, after all these season, they show is just getting boring. It is why I stopped watching big Brother last year. I did not watch this past season of BB and probally won't watch Survivor next time.

I'm just glad that Jeff said Tracy was an underrated player. I knew she didn't have the numbers early on but she really inderstood how to play the game. She was really the only fan I was pulling for.

Amanda learn nothing from last season.

If that's your criteria, add Ian to that list. The guy who gave up an II at the final 3 in exchange for friendship with Tom/Katie. It's why when his name was rumored as one of the people returning this season I was so happy to find out it was not true. Rafe for letting Danni out of her promise to take him to the final 2 then getting upset when she took Steph. The Lopevi men, the fat five as they were called, voting out the younger, stronger men early on and going on a losing streak. Terry keeping weaker members on his tribe just because he was looking ahead to the merge rather than the fact that his tribe was on a losing streak. So there've been plenty of people who've made dumb moves, some just dumber than others.

I dont think he was looking very statuesque at Ponderosa with his belly swollen and smoking cigarettes. I think part of his charm and draw is that he comes across as an hard working, honest and loyal person, although not a very eloquent speaker. He seems like he would be the best friend you ever had, give you the shirt off his back and would never stab you in the back, unlike Parvarti. What she did to Ozzie was cruel. It was obvious that they had a relationship (platonic, but who knows) prior to this season and made some type of a pact. She broke that pact like Ozzie said, for money. But he forgave her, many others would not have. Ozzie comes across as the type of person that is loyal, too so he was heartbroken when Parvarti did him wrong.
Lonewriter....I hope you don't stop watching the show because that sleezeball Parvarti won...I still find it great entertainment.

Usually I really hate the recycling of reality contestants but in this case I'd make an exception. Ozzy/Amanda are fierce. They will probably own all the physical challenges because Amanda can match Ozzy in that arena.

The phrase "Ozzy and Amanda" is no. 34 on the google search graph today. Thats including all search terms users made worldwide. A survivor first? *someone correct me if I am wrong* Come on CBS they are gold!

GOOD point! I 100% agree--him and Ian. Time just makes people forget.
