Yup, I also heard about that one. I heard another one that said that CBS rented China for two seasons, indicating that All-Stars 2 would be there. So it's all questionable right now. I wish they would go somewhere new.]]

| Ideas for my dream Survivor season... what I think they should try next I love the idea of fans participating... but I want fans who LIVE, BREATHE AND DREAM Survivor Not people like Natalie who'll only get one question right on a Survivor history quiz. That said, here's my idea: TAKE IT BACK TO THE BEGINNING. Run the show as they did for Borneo & the Outback. Eight survivors on two tribes, right through to the merge. Have the tribes consist of (Tribe 1) the uber-fans and (Tribe 2) complete newbies/people who haven't watched a lot of Survivor in the past. Don't tell either tribe the special makeup of each tribe... thus with no switch or kidnapping etc until the merge, both tribes would be basically unaware of each's special characteristic. Let them have at it! I'd be interested to see the response of the fan tribe to Survivor old-style, without all the switches, exiles, kidnappings & hidden immunity idols of recent seasons.... see how they handle it. I also think that this would be even more interesting come the merge, when each team has been pretty much isolated for a longer period of time. And yes, I'm sick of islands (hence happy about Gabon), and yes, I'd love a cold season. I've been saying that since season 4 ![]() |

| Re: Ideas for my dream Survivor season... what I think they should try next Good thread. I was thinking of what they could do next to top Micronesia. I really doubt they ever would but: 1) Desert survivor. Make them really struggle against the elements. Maybe I am being mean but I really want them to have reward challenges for basic items like water. ![]() 2) Couples survivor. Hey, if Amazing Race and Big Brother can do it... It sounds cliche but I think if they have couple alliances coming into the game it will change up the game drastically. Especially since there is an added element of basic survival needs. They could switch tribes so each person is coupled with someone they didn't come up with and that can potentially get intense! |

| Re: Ideas for my dream Survivor season... what I think they should try next I think they should do everything the same...except start with three tribes of 6 as in All Stars. Just let the three tribes ride it out to the merge at ten. At least that way it guarantees three factions come merge time and will hopefully bring a lot of the strategy/blindsides that occurred this season! |

| Re: Ideas for my dream Survivor season... what I think they should try next I think this would be the best. Everyone would be expecting all kinds of things to happen and it would screw with them if nothing did.

Personally, I'd still like to see them start it as an individual game. Make people actually have to play. Have them show up at a challenge and put them on a tribe so no alliance would be set in stone until there was an official merge. Or have II when there's still 14 people left just to shake it up and make them wonder if they're playing on a tribe or as an individual.

| Re: Ideas for my dream Survivor season... what I think they should try next Or have everyone scattered around the island on their own and come together only for immunity and reward challenges. Or maybe just have them in randomly assigned pairs. Give them a little more of the basics than they do now from the start...e.g., give them a pot, a machete and flint, maybe a net or fish hooks or spear, and let them take it from there. Two people ought to be able to "survive" that way, and no one could be too lazy or UTR or they'd starve/freeze. |

![]() Maybe they can do that survivor in a desert. Make them really work for that drinking water. How about a variation on couple's alliance? Some people know eachother but no one knows who knows whom. Yeah, I have been watching too much Big Brother. (snort)
