sweetpea ... You clearly have a really strong opinion about Allie and the staging of the reunion and so do I but I just have a completely different take. It absolutely was loaded with lies and phoniness.
What she (and her family) did with the information they originally gave her was their choice and I can only begin to guess at their motivation. She was obviously very excited to be going and was not being naive with regard to her role ... because they were telling her she would be seated on stage. People keep saying what they personally would have done if they were a contestant ... but what if it was your daughter, or your son or someone close to you. I know I would have gone if only to support.
I personally feel that she was wronged by production, and I think she deserves more consideration as someone who was selected from what I am certain are thousands of applicants to be on Survivor. The whole scene she describes in the green room with JP's phony hugs makes me sick.
They just obviousy carried on this ruse until the last minute and it was just wrong.
