I've been checking out some of Corinne's interviews and she is very bitter. She now claims that Dawn was her BFF, but because Dawn "betrayed" her, Corinne won't speak to Dawn although Dawn has apologized & made various overtures. Now, didn't Corinne say in her after the show exit that the only people she actually LIKED there were Malcom & Michael?
Also, I'll be the first to agree that Phillip is out there, but Corinne is refering to him "a living miscarriage" and comparing him to a "handicapped child" and saying Brandon had to have a "mental breakdown medical evacuation" because of Phillip.
I'm glad she has been voted out and I'm glad that she isn't on the jury.
AND ... if she used that miscarriage line with regard to Phillip or any one ... that is pretty sick in my opinion. What a jerk.
:wow ... Well I'll call her mobile, vile vomit!
She (Corinne) calls Phillip a braggart ... and she is a "clinical consultant"? She is a registered nurse, who for the most part probably doesn't do hands on patient care.
I don't know who she works for and that would define what her work duties are ... but I think many are paper pushers and sales assistants.
She's showing her true colors isn't she. When I said gracious before I really meant she hadn't sounded bitter. I guess with time to reflect that changed! That's some ugly stuff she is saying. I guess, for her, time to reflect meant time to think up hateful stuff to say.
We can see that Phillip is nuts but to say he caused Brandon's mental beakdown is greatly overstating the matter. Phillip probably contributed some to that but in no way do I believe he caused it. IMO Phillip would be hard to deal with 24 hours a day but the others are dealing with it. Brandon wasn't stable and that's the cause.
Also, even more kudos to BR. He not only dealt with but managed Philip and lived with him the whole time on the island. I think it's the same thing we're seeing from Cochran. He's managing Philip and the difference is he lets Philip think Philip is in charge. IMO both BR and Cochran use humor to deflect the craziness of Philip and that is how they deal with him so well.
I thinkk BR & Cochran also let Phillip think that they are buying into the whole "Specialist" routine.
Phillip's definitely unique, but I don't see how he could cause someone to have a mental breakdown. I can understand that Brandon felt that he was being snubbed or patronized, but Brandon losing it - that was ALL Brandon. Likewise, Corinne was sitting pretty with her original alliance, but she allowed her dislike of Phillip to override her better judgement. Now she's blaming everyone else for her mistake and holding grudges. Not mature or gracious at all.
I did enjoy her interview more than I thought I would and she did make some good points regarding folks and their big egos after watching themselves on TV.
An edited version of a favorite Roger Ebert quote from a zero star movie review.
Here I have replaced the words "this movie" with "Corinne" in order to review her. :down :down
Corinne doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. Corinne isn't the bottom of the barrel. Corinne isn't below the bottom of the barrel. Corinne doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.!
