Maturity isn't one of the selection criteria.
I think it would be prudent for people to look into the definitions of objectification before they throw around that they like to objectify people. The objectification of people (lack of empathy) is scary... it's related to many personality disorders. Particularly look at Nussbaum's recent theories in relation to Kant's. Kant talks about objectification in relation to ethics... and I don't wholly agree with his assessments. I believe objectification should be looked at in regards to empathy... the lack thereof, and how that relates to disorders.
