I'm glad to be back in the Caramoan waters!!!! I hope they keep having water challenges. It makes it easier to pick off my competitors. Of course, now that the Favorites have fishing equipment, they will be venturing out into my territory. Hopefully Brandon and Phillip will go fishing soon.

As another day dawns on the Caramoan Islands, the pool tribes have individual camp circle meetings to strategize.
Team Maybs spirit guide, the gorilla, grunts its approval at their starting position and encourages them to maintain their aggressive stance to stay in first place. It demands fresh fruit to ensure their continued good fortune so the tribe goes out to forage for a suitable offering.
At Caramoaning’s camp, their spirit guide, the zebra, expresses its restlessness at being in second place, so close to first, and also its wariness at dealing with the mighty gorilla. It encourages its tribe to use its camouflage to get around Team Maybs and speed to escape them if pursued. After the meeting, the tribe heads out to the plains to get some exercise and practice their stealth techniques.
Also in second place, Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan is visited by their spirit guide, the osprey. It teaches the tribe to keep a sharp eye out for opportunities, always watching the other tribes to see when they falter and use that time to make a move. Short, swift attacks are the strength of this tribe. They’re instructed to practice their fishing and trapping and bring back some of their catch as proof of their success.
The third tribe in second starts their meeting with a name change for their tribe. After hearing that their namesake, Ulong, wasn’t the most winning tribe in Palau, they choose a new name—Stealth R Us, Inc. Their spirit guide, the flying fox, encourages them to keep a low profile and stick together. They practice catching things in midair and then go gather fruit to eat.
Brenda’s Benchwarmers is one of the teams in third place. Their spirit guide, an elephant, taught them to use their size to intimidate the other tribes and their close bond as a pack to communicate effectively. No rouge agents are allowed on this tribe! After the meeting, their spirit guide wanted to take a bath to cool down so the tribe went out to scout for a watering hole.
Another third place tribe, Burning Love, met with their spirit guide to practice tribal dances. Showing off flashes of brilliant colors and giving chase to an enemy can make them forget your diminutive size and flee in terror! They got a workout running up and down the beach and used their reflection in the water to practice making menancing faces to intimidate their foes.
Pating, also in third place, did training with their spirit guide, the great white shark, as well. They learned how to circle their prey to get a read on the situation and to intimidate weaker prey, forcing them to make a rash move that would allow their tribe to move in and get them. Their spirit guide expects the tribe to keep their wits about them and be prepared to strike when the moment is right.
Fellow third place tribe, The Fighting Felines, had an audience with their spirit guide, the lion. They practiced roaring (aka trash-talking), using aggressive posturing and displays of ferocious sounding off to unnerve their opponents. Their catcalls could be heard up and down the island by all neighboring tribes!
Not to be outdone, the final third place tribe, Tigreng Warriors, got a lesson in big cat battle from their spirit guide, the tiger. Learning techniques of camouflage and ambush, they trained on hiding in the shadows and then pouncing on their prey. They took time to play as well, since that’s important for tribe morale and bonding. After a rousing romp, they looked for a shady spot under a tree to take a nap and recharge their energy.
In fourth place, JLuv’s Jokers celebrated adding a new member to their tribe who brought them a few extra points than they got last week. Their spirit guide, the hyena, taught them there are strength in numbers and in assigning their members to different tasks to accomplish a bigger goal. They did team-building exercises, which brought a few laughs, and then went off to heckle other tribes.
Caramoan Schmaramoan found themselves in fifth place. Their spirit guide, the tarsier, taught them to be tenacious, getting a grip on where they wanted to be and then not letting go despite any distractions or discomfort. They have a long path to go to victory and success may not come to those who start off strong but to those who endure until the end.
Another fifth place tribe, Curare Bowhunters, practiced their archery skills with their spirit guide, the poison dart frog. They learned to keep their eye on the target and maintain their stance, working on developing their coordination and strength. After their lesson, they practiced putting on warpaint to create a more menacing appearance.
In sixth place, Droppa Mapantz, met with their spirit guide, the hippopotamus. They learned that their advantage is versatility, being able to do well in land and water challenges. They practiced hiding underwater and then surfacing in the center of the action and taking charge.
The other sixth place tribe, Retired Racers, met with their spirit guide, the saluki, to practice their speed and agility. A series of foot races left them panting to get to their next challenge and show off what they had learned.
Last place tribe, The Natural Blues, were visited by their spirit guide, the blue whale. Whales are big but not aggressive and prefer singing to fighting so their tribe worked on creating fight songs to boost their morale during the challenges. Perhaps as the season goes on, their speed and power will bring them up the leaderboard.
Team Maybs got the highest weekly score! Their reward is lawn chairs, pillows, a blanket, and a tarp to make camp life more comfortable.
