The Bowhunters are pumped for tonight! I hope I get to pick off more teams and don't get shot down myself. I'm gunning for you, Caramoaning, Mike Hunt's Protection Plan, Stealth R Us, and Team Maybs!

    Pool Results
    Episode 8

I have a correction to make to last week’s results. I mistakenly posted that Julia lost 15 points for being voted out but that number was left over from the week before when Brandon basically quit. Julia only lost 10 points and that was correct on the scoresheet. I just forgot to update the results sheet.

Three tribes included Julia so each of them put a ceremonial tribe member into play. Burning Love added Erik, Retired Racers added Cochran, and Tigreng Warriors added Phillip.

    Scoring Events
Every castaway still in the game got 10 points, plus 10 points for making it to the merge.
    Cochran won individual immunity (+10).
    Corinne was voted out (-10).

    Individual Scores
    Andrea (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Brenda (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Corinne (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Dawn (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Eddie (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Erik (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Cochran (Enil Edam): 30 points
    Malcolm (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Michael (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Phillip (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Reynold (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Sherri (Enil Edam): 20 points

    Weekly Scores
    Brenda’s Benchwarmers: 110 points
    Burning Love: 140 points
    Caramoan Schmaramoan: 120 points
    Caramoaning: 130 points
    Curare Bowhunters: 120 points
    Droppa Mapantz: 130 points
    JLuv’s Jokers: 130 points
Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 130 points
    Pating: 130 points
    Retired Racers: 110 points
Stealth R Us, Inc.: 110 points
    Team Maybs: 130 points
    The Fighting Felines: 130 points
    The Natural Blues: 110 points
    Tigreng Warriors: 130 points

    Tribe Rankings/Overall Scores
    1. Caramoaning: 730 points
    1. Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 730 points
    2. Team Maybs: 715 points
    3. Stealth R Us, Inc.: 695 points
    3. Curare Bowhunters: 695 points
    4. Pating: 685 points
    4. The Fighting Felines: 685 points
    5. Burning Love: 670 points
    6. Brenda’s Benchwarmers: 665 points
    6. Droppa Mapantz: 665 points
    6. Tigreng Warriors: 665 points
    7. JLuv’s Jokers: 650 points
    8. Caramoan Schmaramoan: 645 points
    9. The Natural Blues: 585 points
    10. Retired Racers: 560 points

Caramoaning and Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan maintained their spot on top of the leaderboard. The alliance between the zebras and the ospreys is paying off well for them both!

Team Maybs went ape on Stealth R US, Inc., knocking the flying foxes down to join Curare Bowhunters in third place. The gorillas were feeling territorial and didn’t want to share second place with anyone.

Brenda’s Benchwarmers made the mistake of crossing paths with Pating. The elephants went into the water to cool off and found themselves surrounded by sharks! They fled from fourth place to sixth, with the lions of The Fighting Felines watching from the shores of fourth place.

Burning Love got a burning desire to move up the leaderboard. The frilled lizards fanned their collars out and made a mad dash to fifth place, scaring Droppa Mapantz and Tigreng Warriors out of the way in the process. The hippos and tigers followed the elephant pack of Brenda’s Benchwarmers in their exodus to sixth place.

JLuv’s Jokers reclaimed their spot on seventh place. Dropping a spot on the leaderboard to humor Caramoan Schmaramoan ceased to be funny for them so they overtook the tarsiers, putting them behind them in eighth place.

The Natural Blues is getting farther behind their competition. Last week, there were 45 points between them and the next highest pool tribe. This week, they’re 60 points away from the next highest tribe. The blue whales do still have their tribal leader in place but they’re running out of time to put any kind of recovery plan into action.

In last place are the Retired Racers. They’re still the same distance away from The Natural Blues that they were last week (25 points) so they didn’t gain or lose ground. The competition isn’t completely over for the saluki yet but they need to get back on their feet if they want to escape last place.

Burning Love got the highest weekly score! They get to make all the other tribes eat disgusting local Filipino delicacies while they feast from the merge basket. Enjoy your prize!

I am excited! This is the first time I ever got the highest weekly score...Thank you Cochran! Now I just hope putting in Eric as my first replacement will pay off.

    Pool Results
    Episode 9

Last week, Corinne was voted out. Four tribes (Brenda’s Benchwarmers, Stealth R Us, Inc., Team Maybs, and The Natural Blues) included her on their team. Stealth R Us, Inc. brought in Sherri as a reserve player to replace her, Team Maybs added Brenda to replace her, and the other two tribes had no reserve players left.

    Scoring Events
Every castaway still in the game got 10 points.
Cochran, Eddie, Erik, Michael, and Reynold won the reward challenge (+5).
    Brenda won individual immunity (+10).
Malcolm played a hidden immunity idol (+10).
Michael was voted out (-10) and became the first member of the jury (+5).

Stealth R Us, Inc.: 80 points
    Team Maybs: 90 points
    The Fighting Felines: 85 points
    The Natural Blues: 70 points
    Tigreng Warriors: 95 points

    Tribe Rankings/Overall Scores
    1. Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 825 points
    2. Caramoaning: 820 points
    3. Team Maybs: 805 points
    4. Curare Bowhunters: 790 points
    5. Stealth R Us, Inc.: 775 points
    6. Pating: 770 points
    6. The Fighting Felines: 770 points
    7. Tigreng Warriors: 760 points
    8. Burning Love: 755 points
    8. Brenda’s Benchwarmers: 755 points
    9. Droppa Mapantz: 750 points
    10. Caramoan Schmaramoan: 735 points
    11. JLuv’s Jokers: 725 points
    12. The Natural Blues: 655 points
    13. Retired Racers: 640 points

Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan soared into first place. The ospreys took off into the sky to enjoy the view from the top, leaving the zebras of Caramoaning in second place.

Team Maybs stayed close to the top two tribes in third place. The gorillas kept some distance from Caramoaning, carefully assessing the situation before planning a move.

There was a standoff between Stealth R Us and Curare Bowhunters. Both had shared third place last week but that proved to be too close for comfort so hostilities broke out between the flying foxes and the poison dart frogs. In the end, the Bowhunters held their ground at fourth place and Stealth R Us dropped down to fifth.

On the other hand, Pating and The Fighting Felines, sharing fourth place last week, seemed to enjoy each other’s company and stayed together this week. The great white sharks and the lions shared stories of their past victories and the prey they’ve put the bite on. They’re currently in sixth place.

Tigreng Warriors got over their fright from Burning Love last week and made it their mission to reclaim the spot ahead of them. The tigers bounded into camp growling ferociously and swiping their paws at the lizards, chasing them down to eighth place, then Tigreng settled in at seventh place.

Brenda’s Benchwarmers made space for the fallen Burning Love, letting the frilled lizards make camp with the elephant herd.

Droppa Mapantz was still unnerved from the lizards’ display last week and unsure about sharing camp with them so the hippos dropped down to ninth place.

Caramoan Schmaramoan moved back up ahead of JLuv’s Jokers. The tarsiers are more nimble than the hyenas and able to climb trees and duck into small places to move through the brush. They took tenth place while JLuvs Jokers wandered down to eleventh place, looking for a way to get around the obstacles in front of them.

The Natural Blues is in twelfth place and Retired Racers is right behind them in last place.

Tigreng Warriors, Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan, and Curare Bowhunters got the highest weekly score! Their reward is an opportunity to rappel down a waterfall to a lavish picnic lunch.

    Re: Survivor Caramoan Pool

Suddenly remembering that I had picked Malcolm as my tribal leader, I am not so upset at the screwjob he pulled on Reynold last night, but before remembering I did call Malcolm a few choice expletives. Reynold is not on my tribe, but Michael was . Michael struck me as a thinker in the first episode, and for some reason I thought he could take the game from day one, much like but not exactly like Richard Hatch. Michael's sails deflated quickly and he was left to let others decide his fate. I know that feel, bro.

I kind of got a kick out of Dawn last night saying she didn't like people who bullied her, right after she bullied Malcolm and Reynold to show her the idol. But her tenacity (Phillip, ugh) is the reason I picked her for my tribe. I regarded her as a peacemaker, and she's proving to be so much more this season.

Who would even know this isn't my favourite show?

    Pool Results
    Episode 9

Michael was voted out last week. Nine pool teams (Brenda’s Benchwarmers, Caramoan Schmaramoan, Curare Bowhunters, JLuv’s Jokers, Pating, Retired Racers, Stealth R Us, Inc., The Natural Blues, and Tigreng Warriors) included him, and one of those (The Natural Blues) had him as their tribal leader. Curare Bowhunters brought in Dawn as a reserve tribe member, Pating added Brenda to their lineup, and the other seven tribes had already used up their reserve tribe members so no other replacements were made.

    Scoring Events
Every castaway still in the game got 10 points.
Cochran, Dawn, Erik, Phillip, and Reynold won the reward challenge (+5).
    Reynold won individual immunity (+10).

    Team Maybs: 85 points
    The Fighting Felines: 90 points
    The Natural Blues: 55 points
    Tigreng Warriors: 75 points

    Tribe Rankings/Overall Scores

    2. Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 915 points
    3. Curare Bowhunters: 900 points

    11. JLuv’s Jokers: 800 points
    12. The Natural Blues: 710 points
    13. Retired Racers: 700 points

This was the week of the zebra, as Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan stepped aside and Caramoaning took first place in the pool.

Mike Hawk remained close by in their osprey’s nest, 5 points away in second place.

The Curare Bowhunters are still going strong, thanks to their tribal leader, Reynold, winning individual immunity. They moved up to third place.

Team Maybs moved down to fourth place. They lost Phillip this week but they have Erik ready to go as a reserve tribe member so they could come back with a vengeance next week.

Cue the MGM lion’s roar and Jaws theme as Pating and The Fighting Felines make their way up to fifth place. These fearsome predators are on the move!

Stealth R Us took a tumble when the Specialist was decommissioned. The flying foxes returned to their bat cave to await further instructions from their tribal mascot.

The hungry hippos of Droppa Mapantz got an appetite for destruction and cleared their path from ninth place to seventh, charging at Tigreng Warriors, Burning Love, and Brenda’s Benchwarmers to get them out of their way.

Burning Love and Tigreng Warriors fell right back in place behind Droppa Mapantz after they passed them, sharing eighth place. The frilled lizards and tigers pick their battles and realize sometimes it’s better to give way temporarily and then get right back in the game and wait for the next opportunity to recapture lost ground.

Caramoan Schmaramoan took advantage of the chaos to move up to ninth place. The tarsiers skittered ahead of Brenda’s Benchwarmers, thanks to their tribal leader Malcolm’s bold game play and the points he earned this week.

Brenda’s Benchwarmers retreated to tenth place. Those elephants freak out as easily as Dawn losing her bottom teeth! Fortunately, they have the serene Brenda as their tribal leader to soothe the waters and get them back into play.

JLuv’s Jokers stayed in eleventh place this week. The hyenas got a good laugh at the pandemonium further up the leaderboard from them. However, they did lose some ground this week. Last week, the jokers were only 10 points away from the next highest team. This week, that gap widened to 20 points.

The Natural Blues remained in twelfth place but they could be in trouble. They have only three tribe members left (Eddie, Erik, and Malcolm). Last place tribe, Retired Racers, has four members left (Brenda, Erik, Cochran, and Malcolm). The gap between the two tribes narrowed from fifteen points last week to ten points this week, so next week could find the great blue whale on the defensive from a saluki attack!

    Re: Survivor Caramoan Pool

    Pool Results
    Episode 11

Phillip was voted out last week. Three pool teams (Stealth R Us, Inc., Team Maybs, and Tigreng Warriors) included him. Team Maybs was the only one of those to have a reserve tribe member left and they added Erik to their tribe.

This week, Malcolm was voted out and that will affect almost every team in the pool. Droppa Mapantz was the only tribe that didn’t include Malcolm. Burning Love had Malcolm as a reserve player but hadn’t put him into play yet. Caramoan Schmaramoan, Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan, Pating, Stealth R Us, Inc., The Fighting Felines, and Tigreng Warriors had Malcolm as their tribal leader. The rest of the tribes included Malcolm as part of their original tribe or as an active reserve player.

Of the tribes who still have their tribal leader intact, Brenda Benchwarmer’s has Brenda as their leader, JLuv’s Jokers has Dawn, Caramoaning has Erik, Caramoan Schmaramoan and Team Maybs have Cochran, Curare Bowhunters has Reynold, and Droppa Mapantz has Sherri.

After this week, the only tribe that still has reserve tribe members left is Droppa Mapantz. Amazingly, they have all five of their original tribe members plus their two reserve tribe members. Whether that will be enough to get them to the top of the leaderboard by the end of the season remains to be seen since they have a lot of points to catch up on.

    Scoring Events
Every castaway still in the game got 10 points.
    Cochran won individual immunity (+10).
Malcolm (-10) and became the third member of the jury (+5).

    Individual Scores
    Andrea (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Brenda (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Cochran (Enil Edam): 20 points
    Dawn (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Eddie (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Erik (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Malcolm (Enil Edam): 5 points
    Reynold (Enil Edam): 10 points
    Sherri (Enil Edam): 10 points

    Weekly Scores
    Brenda’s Benchwarmers: 45 points
    Burning Love: 80 points
    Caramoan Schmaramoan: 40 points
    Caramoaning: 65 points
    Curare Bowhunters: 55 points
    Droppa Mapantz: 70 points
    JLuv’s Jokers: 55 points
Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 60 points
    Pating: 60 points
    Retired Racers: 45 points
Stealth R Us, Inc.: 30 points
    Team Maybs: 75 points
    The Fighting Felines: 60 points
    The Natural Blues: 25 points
    Tigreng Warriors: 40 points

    Tribe Rankings/Overall Scores
    1. Caramoaning: 985 points
    2. Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan: 975 points
    3. Team Maybs: 965 points
    4. Curare Bowhunters: 955 points
    5. Pating: 920 points
    5. The Fighting Felines: 920 points
    6. Burning Love: 915 points
    7. Droppa Mapantz: 910 points
    8. Stealth R Us, Inc.: 875 points
    8. Tigreng Warriors: 875 points
    9. Caramoan Schmaramoan: 865 points
    9. Brenda’s Benchwarmers: 865 points
    10. JLuv’s Jokers: 855 points
    11. Retired Racers: 745 points
    12. The Natural Blues: 735 points

Caramoaning kept their spot on top of the leaderboard. The zebras like the nice, big tent the tribe in first place gets to occupy, complete with a tarp and linens, and aren’t willing to give it up. Like many other tribes, they lost Malcolm and have no reserve members left so they’ll be downsizing. It will be up to Dawn, Eddie, and Cochran, led by Erik, to take them to the end.

Mike Hawk’s Protection Plan stayed in second place. They don’t have a tarp and linens and their tent isn’t as big as the first place tent but they do have a fishing kit and the ospreys enjoy soaring over the water scooping up fish. They lost their tribal leader Malcolm but have Brenda, Dawn, Cochran, and Sherri to continue on.

Team Maybs launched an attack on Curare Bowhunters and forced them to retreat, taking over the third place tent. It doesn’t have a tarp to keep out the rain but at least it has mosquito netting to keep the insects down. Although they lost Malcolm, they still have Brenda, Dawn, Erik, and their gorilla king, Cochran.

Curare Bowhunters dropped down to fourth place. They still have their tribal leader, Reynold, plus Brenda, Dawn, Erik, and Cochran. The Bowhunters will be praying to their spirit animal, the poison dart frog, to keep their remaining tribe members strong and safe so they can hold their position in the pool and perhaps even move up.

Pating and The Fighting Felines are right where they were last week, sharing fifth place. This could be the last week they spend together because Pating has a reserve tribe member (Reynold) to put into play and The Fighting Felines don’t. Both had Malcolm as their tribe leader so they won’t be bringing in double points on him anymore. Pating will move forward with Brenda, Dawn, Cochran, Reynold and Sherri in their ranks. The Fighting Felines will continue the fight with Andrea, Dawn, Cochran, and Sherri. Will Brenda and Reynold give the great white shark of Pating the edge or will Andrea make the lion of the Fighting Felines queen of the forest?

Burning Love moved up to sixth place. The frilled lizards have Cochran as their tribal leader, supported by Brenda, Dawn, Erik, and Sherri. They lost reserve player, Malcolm, before he could join their team but at least they didn’t lose points from his departure.

Droppa Mapantz stayed in seventh place this week but I suspect they’re poised to take off and shoot up the leaderboard, as fallout from Malcolm’s voting off starts to affect the teams currently high on the leaderboard. Droppa has Sherri as their tribal leader, flanked by Brenda, Eddie, Cochran and Reynold, plus they have reserve tribe members Dawn and Erik in the wings waiting for their call to action.

Stealth R Us and Tigreng Warriors are tied at eighth place. Tigreng was here last week while Stealth R Us was in sixth place. Stealth had a run of bad luck, losing Corinne, Michael, Phillip, and Malcolm right in a row, which has undermined their defenses. It’s now up to Andrea and Sherri alone to carry on for Stealth R Us and keep the flying foxes aloft. Tigreng Warriors is counting on Brenda and Cochran to keep the tigers in the battle.

Caramoan Schmaramoan and Brenda’s Benchwarmers are sharing ninth place. Last week, the Benchwarmers had been 5 points behind Schmaramoan but they made up the difference this week to stand on equal ground with them. Schmaramoan has tribe members Dawn, Eddie, and Erik to rally for the tarsiers. Brenda’s Benchwarmers have tribal leader Brenda leading the charge of the elephant herd with Dawn and Sherri.

JLuv’s Jokers are in tenth place. The hyenas have Dawn leading them, supported by Cochran and Sherri.

The Retired Racers have come out of retirement to take one last shot at climbing the leaderboard. Brenda, Erik, and Cochran are prepared for the final sprint to do the saluki proud.

The Natural Blues are pretty much dead in the water. They have only Eddie and Erik left to represent the great blue whale and are too far behind in points to catch up to anyone but the Retired Racers. This might be a good time to start singing the blues.

Burning Love got the highest weekly score! Their prize is a large pizza with the toppings of their choice. They can eat it alone or share it with the other pool tribes.
