Well, I am not sure I'd call Malcolm a 'numbskull' as I think he is quite bright. But Eddy? Oh, heck yeah Cochran, you got that right!

I can't find the preview but I did rewatch the immunity challenge and it was even better the 2nd time around. Man it was close.

Yes, Cochran has to be careful not to underestimate Malcolm just because Malcolm is pretty. Malcolm has excellent social skills (see last season), and I don't think he'd be in the muscle alliance if he had a choice (that is, he figured, rightly I think, that the 4 strong young guys would get picked off as soon as they merged, so their only hope was to ally). He's also not stupid.

Yep, I'm sure that Malcolm has had plenty of people look at him & assume he's not smart just because he has long hair & is good looking.
And since no one that he's playing with had seen has social game prior (and the fact he was so close to Corrine) makes them assume he's all brawn & no brain.

However, Eddy is a definitely a nitwit. And Reynold isn't appearing to be too bright either, but definitely smarter than Eddy (although that bar is pretty low, )

I'm questioning Malcolm's intelligence at the moment. Making an alliance of four reeks of a move made earlier in the season by the tool, Reynold. Malcolm did not do enough to secure even those four since Erik flipped out. In that way, he did even worse than Reynold (at least Reynold was sure of his good looking alliance).

As for Cochran, is he really deserving of ALL the credit? He is working with Dawn, and I can't think she's just sitting around letting Cochran handle everything. All of that said, I love me some Cochran.

I'll take the current discussion on Malcolm's intelligence (or lack thereof) to his thread.

They showed the preview during NCIS last night. Cochran said ... "I won't be engaging in any masculine tomfoolery with these numbsklls"

We don't know precisely who he is talking about ... but it is preceded by Andrea "seducing" Eddie ... and then Reynold saying something about taking muscle to the end? Could these be the numbskulls?

Me too. He made his point with colorful, descriptive words without resorting to the vulgar obscenities that so many do these days.

Vocabulary is a terrible thing to waste. Way to go, Cochran.
