Up to this point I would say Brandon seems sincere in his Christianity, or at least in how religion seems to guide his thoughts and actions. Was this interview before he left? Sounds like something Russell would say...
Sorry, I can't remember where I read that, and I didn't save it. It was before the show, when it was first announced that Russell's nephew would be on. May it was misquoted in what I read, but it made an impression on me to wait-and-see. Maybe I can find it.

Doesn't surprise me that Coach is repelled by Brandon. Everyone lies in this game; it is part of the deal. Coach has lied. This honesty/loyal thing is getting old.

Christains lie all the time. Priests lie too, big time!

Yup. The old "playing with honor" idea doesn't fly most of the time. Big or small, deception is a part of this game. Now the trick of it is to just convince yourself that your deceptions are honorable, and then you're in business!!

I'm confused by the question. Ozzy has been on in the past. I thought the merge always happens around the same time - so they were taking a chance that the rules weren't going to change. Assuming they didn't (which he was right), he knew the merge was next - and probably also that at the merge was when the first person would come back from RI. I don't think there was anything surprising about this - I think anyone who has watched the show regularly knows that the merge happens right around the half way mark.

Was Ozzy ALWAYS this much of a sooky lah lah?? Seriously.. "He betrayed me!!, that useless sniveling piece of nothing DARED to betray the O'mighty Oz.." self righteous bull?? (He was so much nicer before the Porn..)

I REALLY hope Cockroach is playing some sort of "way too intellectual for me to figure out" game.. otherwise.. he scares me too..

I hate Coach, but lately, he seems to be playing the smartest game..

Haha, I do have a certain taste in guys, altho stumbling on another survivor forum I found out I was not alone in my thoughts. Besides, I dont want him to win because hes hot... I want him to win because hes a damn site more interesting than everyone else and has game this season.

Sorry to throw another Spoiler from a different source into the mix, but a guy is confidently proclaiming on survivor sucks the below rumours. I have seen him contradict himself a little and say hes 'waiting for confirmed votes' so take them with a pinch of salt.

    1) One of the F3 gets no votes

    2) Coach doesnt not win (therefore comes second) with some votes

    3) Albert goes at some point

    3) The winner gets a good majority (Brandon leaves at f5/6, Edna gets backstabbed according to maxx, Rik is forgettable) which leaves a Sophie win.

Interesting. For the last few weeks, my vote has been leaning toward Sophie winning - so I will be interested to see if this is true.

I think the part about one F3 not getting any votes may also mesh with the other spoilers about someone re-entering the game close to the end. Perhaps it is Cochran - because I really believe no one from Savaii will vote for him and no one from Upolu will vote for him over one of their own.

That nearly always happens, one poor schlub doesn't get anything while the two main fighters duke it out. I don't like the F3, I've always preferred a F2. Why won't they listen to me?

Yeah, Velvet...we all have our different tastes. Didn't mean to criticize yours! I've just never been a Coach fan. I will DEFINITELY agree with you about him being more interesting than anyone else. And I would also say he's been a bit less annoying than in past years. But I still think he's SOOOOO weird that I don't care for him. At least this year, he's not making up as many silly stories about being kidnapped while travelling down the Amazon. LOL
