A rugby-like game gets out of control and one player is ejected from the contest; one person is given the opportunity to make friends with the opposing tribe, but it doesn't go well. Meanwhile, Russell H. continues to disrupt life for the Foa Foa tribe. At tribal council, another castaway is voted out of the game.
Hmmm, too bad that Russell doesn't get ejected. It's probably Ben, then?

Why do you think it isn't Russell?

It could be sneaky (creative) writing, I guess, and Russell is ejected.

Can't be Russel--how can you hype a whole season on the "biggest villian ever" if he is there only 2 episodes and burned a pair of socks. Got last a while.

But when they said 'contest' did they mean that competition or the whole show? I didn't get the whole show from it. Or did I miss a spoiler?

Someone is thrown out of the challange, not the game.

Then that brings me back to my original question...how do we know it isn't Russell. He could still be tossed from the challenge and continue to be evil in the show.

Russ has a thing where he can be a total slimeball but have no one notice. I don't think he'd be rough with the women in the challenges, either. Just because he's a slimeball doesn't mean he'll play physically rough, too. Plus, as Velvet pointed out, the writing in the episode description suggests the person booted out of the challenge is a different person than Russell.

Yes, but I misinterpreted it to mean "ejected from the show", and I now think that it is just that challenge (must have been my wishful thinking). Thanks, dagwood!

I now think that it may or may not be Russell who is ejected from the contest (challenge). And Russell will continue to disrupt his tribe's life (as if we didn't know that would happen already). Thanks for nothing, Survivor!

The good part of the description is that Russell could still be voted off, but that seems unlikely for this week. Survivor is going to do whatever it takes to keep him as long as possible.
