    Dead Squid

I was just doing laundry, and got to thinking about the dead squid. I would have a hard time eating that. How did it die? Why was it there? Did they cook it long enough? Any one have any clue?
    Just wondering

I think it's a bad idea to eat anything that's already dead and lying on the beach. Bacteria starts setting in pretty darn quick.

That is exactly what I thought. Especially with seafood. Nothing will give you food poisoning quicker than bad seafood, especially lying out in the sun at 100+ degrees.

Well, if Helen says it was okay..........................

If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one thinking that was a bit odd!

I don't know how they could bring themselves to eat it.
You would think Clay, as a restauranteur would have known and pointed out the dangers.

Well, Clay wanted to make sure it was cooked well, at least. Helen didn't want it to be rubbery...I'd rather be safe with rubbery squid than sick with half-cooked squid.

In their defence, if I was out there, I might end up eating washed up dead fish as well. Hunger does crazy things to you.
