I wish I had a tape of Bruce speaking, particularly when he joined up with his no fire/no water tribemates. There was a strange quality about how he was speaking confessional style, but it passed over to something else too quickly for slow pokish me to isolate.

Just keep sending him there for his own safety.

I got the impression of a guy who thinks he has alot more skill and knowledge than he really has.
He hasn't had Tina's "Outdoor Woman" edit at all.... everything he's done has failed, or looked dodgey, or irritated Shane.

His infamous "kill germs by straining water thru smelly tshirts" scene... chances are the water wasn't contaminated enough to hurt them much anyway.

Come on, just say it... you KNOW you want to... he's a twit.

People seem to always want to believe in the kindly older guy types on this show unconditionally. He's not mean, therefore he must be a hero. Well I don't buy it. He comes off as a slightly sad old bumbler, who yes, does know some things some of the others on his tribe don't know, but look at the bunch of idiots he's there with. He may seem like Einstein next to them, but that's a distorted view.

I don't think he's going to be valued as much as he should be by his team. I want to believe he has a lot of valuable knowledge in that head of his. I just hope he knows how to deliver it...and that he is given some respect.

I don't like Bruce. He just irritates me. I don't find his "go to" attitude all that great..like Krom said.. look at the fools he's with??

Also, with the previews for next week's episode.. WOW! Did he ever set up the old rock garden, zen thingymabob. Lets hope there weren't more pressing things to do in camp..like straining water through shirts to purify them.

I won't miss him when he's gone. Just something about him that I don't like.

They way Bruce thinks he is amazing and a gift from Heaven is kind of... grating. This may sound stupid, but even the way he dived in the RC bugged me.

    Shut up, OD

That's funny that you mentioned his diving.. Zaaam said the exact same thing when we were watching the episode.

I still like Bruce. No wonder he thinks highly of himself, his team mates are calling him thier savior and praising him up wazoo. The Tshirt thing sounded really iffy but at least he's doing something, unlike many on his tribe.

Between the lazy airheads on Casaya and the group of hot house flowers on La Mina that can't do anything without Terry, Bruce looks like a genius
