    Hummmmmmm???
Rosie's the host for the reunion show for Season 4 - The Marquesas.

On the other hand, I doubt she would be able to make the cut for a show like this. She's more suitable for talkshows & comedies.

Very unlikely that it would be Rosie, I cannot picture her hosting a full season of Survivor.

Not only would she not stand in the jungle, she'd also suck at the job.

Isn't the main rumor that it will be a former contestant?

Ummm. How about Alicia Callaway? Unlike some of the former female Survivors I've heard talked about she at least has been working on TV somewhere or other almost non-stop since her edition of the show. Plus she's in good enough shape to take the conditions.

Some people might like Jerri Manthey, but I think there'd also be a lot of people who would bitch about her getting it. Heck, even Probst might complain, and doesn't he still get a co-exec producer credit or something, and thus maybe some small voice in his eventual replacement?

I actually think Probst won't leave. This is all part of some game between him and Burnett over salary.

'Survivors' to go on minus Probst

    Nov. 2, 2005 12:00 AM

Days after a wave of stories reported a trickle of rumors that Survivor host Jeff Probst is leaving his vital role escorting, instructing, tempting and generally torturing desperate, smelly, crabby, starving and rageful contestants on the CBS reality show, there's word Probst really might leave the Mark Burnett-created hit after all, Knight Ridder reports.

TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello says the reality-TV producer-guru "basically told me that the rumors are true," and that Probst - whose signature tagline, "Survivors ready? Go!" resonates in the national consciousness almost as deeply as Edward R. Murrow's "Good night, and good luck" - will leave after next spring's 12th incarnation of the show.

Proving that rumors are just truths whose time is yet to come - and therefore always true - Burnett also confirmed that the host spot will be filled by a former female Survivor survivor. If the name of a likely candidate just popped into your head, seriously, you watch too much television.

i am gunning for Jenna Morasca. She already has experience from Survivor Live

Rosie's hosting of that reunion show was the absolute worst ever. If she took over the hosting reigns could the Survivors vote her off?

That's the most important part of this phrase. No I mean it "I really really really might leave." This just screams of contract negotion ploys.

I agree. Also, Jeff said in an interview, not too long ago, that CBS has not renewed the contract for another season of Survivor , after 12, yet. That is one reason he hasn't signed a contract, there isn't one available.

    ChaChing!!

I think Jeff has it made and he knows it. Besides he has to feed his live in and all the little Jeffy's to come.

I will take his cush job any day.

I sure hope he doesn't leave....it just won't be the same without seeing those dimples each week.
Frankly Jamie we don't give a damn.
