The curly vs. straight haired just about did me in laughing. It will be interesting to see how that plays out!

Average age of Nakum tribe....34.125 (round down to 34)

Average age of Yaxha tribe....29.625 (round up to 30)

I'm going with Brandon/Brian Lydia/Margaret for early boots.
    Always looking for cat treats!

Blah. Where are the REAL people? I think I might give this season a pass.

Hopefully they won't be part of the "We're pretty so we don't need to do any work" crowd because that's getting old.

Oh I hate it when the players act like lazy bums around camp (lots of that in Africa, Marquesas, and Palau). But I think many of the "pretty" ones this seasons may also have a work ethic-- at least I hope so.
And I sing sometimes like my life is at stake because you're only as loud as the noises you make.

I hear ya! Maybe you'll make Survivor 12.

Not only are several of them twins, the bios mention identical twins?! That really sounds like a new twist!

I'd rather see you on the show than ANY of these people.

They had tryouts here in a suburb of Chicago. At 6 Flags Great America. Where you had to pay like 20-something dollars to get in.

*wonders if they did that deliberately to "weed out" certain people*

One of the things that I liked a lot about Survivor is that unlike a lot of reality shows (ANTM and AR not included, as they ARE diverse) they actually tried to get people from different backgrounds, ages and ethnicities. Some of us actually LIKE seeing that. Now that it looks like the whole show has been modelized and whitewashed I'm simply not interested, and I'm really annoyed because the whole Guatemala premise seemed exciting. What's the oldest person on here, 39?

edit: Oh wow, they actually DO have older people casted! One's in his 40s and one's in his 60s. OMG YAY -_-
