I guess they would bid on the necklace with the money they had left. It would have been fiendishly funny to see their dismay and then have Jeff say "Just kidding, you people are SOOOO easy!".

So far no one has shown any of the traits really needed to win this thing....I say if a backstabber doesn't show up soon...I am going to root for the sharks to eat them all...

The person with the most money left over because they didn't spend it on the food. I didn't keep track so I don't know which person that would have actually been, but it would have been a neat twist.

Not really, several people had the same amount of money left I think.

It would have been Gregg. He only spent $25 on the bite of Ian's spaghetti.

We can't be sure of that. Steph mentionned (I think on The Early Show) that there were more items that we just didn't see, so we don't who who spent how much.

okay, I get it now! That would be a hoot, especially since they were using money on ice cream and spaghetti! I thought it was interesting how Tom didn't bid on anything- wonder if he maybe had the same thought or if he realized that the letters from home would show up.

I don't think Tom spent any money either- did he? (that we were shown).

He said in a confessional that he suspected letters would be on the auction block too and that he really needed contact from home. He held out for that and didn't chance bidding on other things prior to that (as far as we know).
