Thinbound, they wouldn't get to take that stuff with them. But the Survivors weren't told "come on up to the deck, the game's starting", they were told "come on up to the deck, we want to get some photos of you."

Why Osten brought that stuff on deck is anyone's guess.

My take on this interview was that Osten didn't want to take too much time out of his schedule of drinking and reading the lyrics to his favorite songs to answer questions. Good job John, I can't say the same for Ass-ten.

Osten didn't appear to take a lot of time, but at least he answered the questions, we're still waiting on Michelle, Trish and Shawn.

So whatever amount of time he devoted to answering I think Osten for getting back to John with his responses.

John, thanks for the interview. You certainly gave Osten a chance to fix his image.

Too bad he's still pissed about the way he was treated. I'm not sure I blame him, though.

OK, this is what I'm thinking. If Michelle, Trish and Shawn don't get their questions done soon, John should just make up answers to his questions that make them all look like absolute morons.

Why did I look at this thread now I will be singing that song in my head all day. I hated it then and I hate it more now.
As for Osten I think he believed that what was on TV was not real and that he would not be expected to survive without such things. I think he believed he could take the drink with him and that when he sold his clothes that they would be replaced. I think it was a shock to him that it was all for real and he could not handle it. This interview just reinforced my opinion of his arrogance.

Spring was never waiting for us, dear
    It ran one step ahead
As we followed in the dance
Between the parted pages we were pressed,
    In love's hot, fevered iron
Like a striped pair of pants

    (Chorus)
MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down...
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
    Oh, no!

I recall the yellow cotton dress
    Foaming like a wave
On the ground beneath your knees
The birds, like tender babies in your hands
And the old men playing chinese checkers by the trees

    (Chorus)

    (instrumental interlude)

    (Bridge)
There will be another song for me
    And I will sing it
There will be another dream for me
    Someone will bring it
I will drink the wine while it is warm
And never let you catch me looking at the sun
And after all the loves of my life
After all the loves in my life
    You'll still be the one

I will take my life into my hands and I will use it
I will win the worship in their eyes and I will lose it
I will have the things that I desire
And my passion flow like rivers from the sky.
And after all the loves of my life
After all the loves in my life
    You'll still be the one
    And I'll ask myself why...

    (verse instrumental)

    (chorus instrumental)

    (instrumental interlude)

I heard the original on the radio today. I thought of you guys right away.
