I wouldn't mind Richard Hatch....but I don't really want to see Tina, Ethan (as cute as he is), Vee, Brian or Jenna.

I want lots of Pagongers and wouldn't mind seeing the runners up....like Kelly W., Colby, and Matt.

    Wow!!

How much do you want to bet that anyone who came close to winning their show will be voted out first just on principle?

Wow, think of the fun we could have with the runners up alone. By then there will have been 7 seasons, which accounts for 14 of the players and perhaps two "wild card" positions...

    It would look like this:

    Season 1 Kelly, Rudy
    Season 2 Colby, Keith
    Season 3 Kim , Lex
    Season 4 Neleh, Kathy
Season 5 Jan, Clay (not so sure about this one!)
    Season 6 Rob, Matthew
    Season 7 - ??

What do you think? Too boring?

I don't know of they're planning to have the winners come back or not. It just said past contestants. I don't think it would be too interesting if they had the winners back but then again it might be alright to see how they compete against each other. They would have to have more than the winners anyhow as there are not enough of them to make tribes. There have only been 6 winners so far. I think there are many previous players who deserve a second chance at the money. Supposedly they will be playing for $2 million instead of the $1 million they usually play for. Who knows what they have up there sleeves for this show?!:

i think that they'd be lucky to get exactly 2 from each season. Most Survivors after it is all over have said that they would never do it again. A million bucks is a lot of money and even though the prize is 2 mil, it doesn't necessarily translate to double the incentive to go back. of the 128 contestants by then (if it is season 9) they will probably get in contact with all of them to see who is interested and then figure it out from there. They might not even be able to get 16 people that the audience would want to see again.

    Survivor 8 Contestant Speculation

From what I've read online so far, only six castaways from previous seasons of Survivor have been confirmed thus far. They are:

Richard Hatch, Sue Hawk and Rudy Bosch (Survivor: Pulau Tiga)
Tina Wesson and Jerri Manthey (Survivor: The Austrailian Outback)
    Ethan Zohn (Survivor: Africa)

That makes three men and three women so far. Apparently, MB and CBS are not yet ready to release exactly who the other castaways will be, but they have confirmed that they have already been selected.

I thought it might be interesting to see who everyone thinks will round out the cast for Survivor 8. There will be ten more names required; 5 men and 5 women. And, once you've weighed in with who you think will be in, you can also tell us who you would like to see there.

    Let the speculation begin!

I think it's a great idea, but the money should be donated to the charity to the winner's choice.

I don't think any of the "sole survivors" (aka, Rich, Ethan, Jenna...etc) should be on it.

Well, the media whores will obviously be first in line to get 15 more minutes. Way up at the top of that list:

    Jerri Manthy

And then a little farther down:

    Kelly Wigglesworth
    Tammy (Marquesas)
    Porno Bryan (Philippians)
    Coleen (first season)
    Mitchell (Australia)
    Jenna (first season)

I can think of more women with entertainment aspirations, but not men so much.

People I would like to see get another chance:

    Michael Skupin (Australia)
    Pappy (Marquesas)
    Lex (Africa)
    Neleh (Marquesas)
    Rob (Amazon)
    Deena (Amazon)
    Colby (Australia)
    Elizabeth (Australia)
    Stephanie (Philippians)
    Theresa (Africa)

Unless they realize that, and form a "winners" alliance early.

Though I agree that none of the winners should get another chance. I'd rather see other players get a chance at the money.
