I don't have much to say about him. I don't really like him and I don't really hate him. But he's from New Yawk, at least.

Does anyone know why shawn voted against Burton? It seems that he should have had Burton's back before following Jon! I don't the fact that he was disloyal to his friend (although I can see why he would be, actually 1,000,000 reasons )

I think we'll find out a lot more about that next week.

The only person Shawn would technically need to explain himself to is Michelle as he wasn't alligned with anyone else.
I can't see her kicking up the kind of fuss the previews seemed to indicate was brewing over the voting.
Jon appears to have "outed" Shawn as voting for Burton, or at least put him into a position where he felt he needed to explain his vote.
I have no idea why Jon would do that, other than the fact he's an ass.

Forgot to add, the editing could be to blame for this, but the decision to throw the challenge seemed to be very much Burton's.
Perhaps Shawn was unhappy that Burton appeared to be trying to take a leadership role.

The fact that Shawn confirmed while sitting with Burton, Jon and Michelle that they were in an alliance made it very obvious that they would not be alligned for long.
My theory, which seems to always hold true, is that MB will never show a winning alliance until he absolutely has to, until it's so obvious that the group will be taking it to the end.

As soon as Heidi, Rob, Alex and Jenna were shown to be obviously alligned last season it was pretty clear that their alliance would not make it to the final four.

I'd like to find out why the Jon/ Shawn alliance was tighter than the Burton/ Shawn/ Jon/ Michelle one. It looks like Shawn will have to defend his vote as Jon may try to say he voted for Christa. I'd like to think Shawn decided to vote for Burton on his own instead of being pulled around by Jon.

Shawn may have a hard time convincing the tribe that he voted for Burton. Since Probst didn't show the last vote, Drake may assume that it was for Christa.

IMO, Shawn didn't owe Burton any loyalty. When Shawn lost the spear tip, Burton didn't help him look for it. If Rupert hadn't found the tip, Shawn would've been in trouble.

Any thoughts on why Shawn didn't throw the IC? While the other Drakes allowed Morgan to defeat them, he dunked both Ryan O and Tijuana.

I think that is shawn's defense, he didn't want to throw the challenge. Plus, if Jon is allied with Shawn, as he said he was last week, then I don't know why he would out Shawn.

I think that Rupert will respect Shawn for not giving in. I think that Morgan will win IC again, and the Drakes will start to get nervous. They might not be willing to boot a strong player, and will instead boot the person who definately was allied with Burton all along, and whom Christa hates. That would be Michelle.

Problem is, as we saw last week, there is actually a lot going on in the Drake tribe that MB didn't show us. There could be new partnerships show up during the show next week.

Bill, it makes sense that Shawn will say he didn't want to throw the challenge and will earn Rupert's respect.

I'm guessing the Drakes will assume that the undisclosed vote was for Christa. If there were 3 votes for Christa and Shawn claims that he voted for Burton, that would put Jon on the spot. So, rather than try to convince the tribe that the vote against Burton was 5-2, Jon will claim that Shawn voted for Christa.

About the partnerships, I was wondering if Shawn has alliances with anyone other than Jon and Michelle.
