Brian is low-key. Doesn't get worked up about anything. And now that he's got an alliance with Ted, I don't see him going. In addition, he's always seen "doing something". He went for water, he helped go fishing, he looked for food, etc.

Plus, he's got to be working behind-the-scenes on a coconut-hairgel manufacturing machine, ala Gilligan's Island.

Brian is very even tempered and I think he's playing the game very well.

I don't know how the Sook wills view him post merge.

I think as long as he's the "okay, let's go do it" guy like he has been, he'll stick around for a bit post-merge.

Especially since it's shaping up to NOT be an all-20-something post-merge tribe. I don't think anyone will view him as a threat for physical challenges, and that may be a mistake.

I thought it was hilarious when Brian was commenting about Shii Ann getting voted off. What did he call her? Shuu Lee? Shung Yi?

You are right about that. All indications are that Ken and Ted are perceived as the biggest threats, but look at Brian during the challenge last night.

He could have gone on much longer. He is playing well, he appears to be safe and secure in his own tribe, and he is the guy that the key leader from SJ is trying to make in roads with.

It puts him in the catbird seat.

Even with the sexist comments, Brian is still up there in my Top2 -- him and Ted as a wishlist to win.

From what I saw yesterday, I think Brian has blown his cover (oh, no, there I go again....). Anyway, there was no pure chance that put him (the (self-)appoited king of Briania) and Jake (the unquestionable leader of SJ) in the boat together "feeling each other out"(!), and everyone else must have been aware of that they were going off for a tete-a-tete. (Are these the 2 cats that go away....??)

(Btw, I thought Brian looked pretty good yesterday... )

I thought Brian was pretty much cruising to a victory, but his performances in the bamboo snorkel challenge and the reward challenge have marked him as a very strong player.
He also seems to be very well liked.

Helen might not be against him now, but I think she would definitely vote him out in the later stages because I don't thik she will feel she can win against him.

I totally agree with that, fluff. Plus, Helen will vota against him merely on the money principle, with a little prodding from Jake.
