    Tribes

Looks as though the colours for the tribes this year will be red and purple, possibly going with an earthy tone post merge.

CBS haven't wasted any time getting the merchandise onto their online store.

    Hi fluff,

I personally like the purple colors, and the earth tones for the merge are awesome. Hmmm... I wonder what Suk Jai or Chuay Gan mean?

I think most colours are an improvement of the magenta post merge buff for S4.

I'm not sure what the names mean.
I'll have to do a little research.

Good to see you here Wolf.

This list was compiled by the very eagle eyed and dedicated spoilers at "Sucks".
They searched through vidcap evidence from promos.
We have to remember that both the tribe buff colours are dark and could look similar if the buff was inside out wrapped round the wrist for example.
How and when these tribes were formed is obviously not known yet, but early indications are that these are the tribes.

The purple buff tribe are called "sook-jai" and will set up camp at the sheltered cove at Ao Jak.

    Shii ann Huang
    Erin Collins
    Penny Ramsey
    Stephanie Dill
    Jed Hilderbrand
    Ken Stafford
    Jake Billingsley
    Robb Zbacnick

The Reds, Chuay Gan, but they set up camp under a rocky outcrop on Ao Rusi bay and didn't need to make a shelter, just change the floor of the cave a little and modify a few things.
the members of this tribe are:

    Tanya Vance
    Ghandia Johnson
    Helen Glover
    Jan Gentry
    John Raymond
    Clay Jordan
    Ted Rodgers Jr
    Brian Heidik

The teams don't seem very evenly matched to me, although having said that neither did Rotu and Maramuu last year but Rotu proved that team work and cooperation are very important factors.

Thanks Fluff. It's good to be here.

Jed, Robb, & Ken on the "Sook-Jai" team. Right off the bat, looks like i'll be cheering for the "sook-jai" team. (that is until the team's start changing due to the impending twists.)

You are so right Fluff in saying that the teams don't seem evenly matched. It probably doesn't matter right now, but we'll see.

Well, we were promised all new challenges by Burnett and Probst.
Perhaps the emphasis will less on physical ability giving Chuay Gan more of a chance.

I haven't totally ruled out the idea that the Survivors will pick teams themselves somehow though.

Wish I knew too, the only thing I know how to say in Thai is to proposition a lady

The "chewy" one apparently means "Help Each Other", and the other one means "Blissful Heart". Anyway, that's what it says at the bottom of the article to which you posted the link, Fluff.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey
