    Will There Be A Switch?

I was reading another thread and started wondering.

    I love these ides:

    WooHoo! Those are grand thoughts

Of Course if Jan had to pick again, she might have a nervous breakdown. I could see her feeling too awful to choose anyone not already on her team!

    Any thoughts people?

I'm really not sure this time out cali.

Episode 6 is entitled "The power of one".
How fanciful is it to suggest that a switch would take place nin ep six and the survivors will compete to be the soul person responsible for picking the teams?
Sounds ludicrous really, but it could work.
If either Ghandia or Steph leave this week we will be left with 6 men and 6 women overall. The challenge winner must then select two teams of three men and three women.
I know this is far-fetched, but it would provide an interesting spin on the switch this time out.

Ok, I'm thinking about this now

I think they like the switches to be a little more random that that, )i.e the pick a stump and send three people switches)
How about episode 5 -The Ocean's Surprise meaning they each have to dive down to retrieve a box with their new tribal buff in it?
    That's pretty random.

I'm starting to wonder if they even WILL switch tribes. I think the power of one might mean they merge early.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I really hope they don't switch this season. I want them to deal with their choices and decisions, just to see how it plays out. Plus, I think they're expecting it, so it would be better if it didn't happen.

I'm hoping for no switch as well. I really think that has been a cruddy "twist" in the game in the past seasons.

I thought it worked well in Africa, the look on Silas' face alone made sure of that. It was a great way to smack down a couple of cocky punk kids.

The switches work best (imo) when there are alliances in the tribes or if a tribe is playing particularly well at a given point.
So far the switches have only really adversely affected Silas, who cares, and Sarah Jones, again who cares?
I don't think either of those players would ahve been there for the long haul although they may have gotten slightly further.
