I don't have a problem with Randy. I know he is difficult to be around, that is clear. There is definately a sadness there, Susie sees that and perhaps the others aligned with him do too. A bitter and nasty man lashing out at everything that crosses his path. I find it fascinating that he reveres Marcus and Charlie. That is really a pretty nifty thing. He has made friends for the first time in his life, his words. I would be interested to learn about his life and what landed him where he sits.

I would be interested in learning if they are still his friends.

I would bet the friendship is still there in the background. They all live in different states and most likely email on occasion. I don't see any of them flying to spend weekends together. Marcus and Charlie have demanding careers and are probably back to life as usual at this point.

And even that's probably out of politeness only. I'm sure none would actually spend time with him for real. They had to in Gabon because they had no choice but in real life...
