I think I must have read Helen totally wrong.
She seems like a "facts" kind of person and I really thought she would at least have given Ted a hearing before making up her mind.

I agree Fluff. I totally expected more from Helen and I hope she redeems herself next week over this incident. Very disappointing.

Hmmm, I don't think she's going to Bravo.

Here's a transcript of the latest CBS promo that I posted in the "CBS clues" thread.

Announcer The tension between 2 Survivors...

Ghandia - He was grinding into me

Announcer - ...reaches the breaking point

    Ted - I really can't stand her.

Announcer - Now it's the women versus the men

Helen - I do believe Ghandia's story, the guys will believe Ted's side.

Announcer While on the other side of the island... dissension...

    Stephanie - ughhhhh

    Announcer ...threatens to destroy unity.

Shii Ann: She just hates us!

Announcer - Who will win a bizarre challenge, you have to see to believe and who will go home?
Sounds as though Helen, at least to begin with, is going along with her first instinct to believe Ghandia.
Hopefully that will change throughout the course of the program.

While I think Helen is 'book smart' I don't think she's very people smart and I never believed that by her behaviour in the first couple episodes.

She was out floating by herself and needed badly to develop some alliances. For some reason, (perhaps because no one else would take her) she hooked up with fellow outcast Ghandia.

She also seems very quick to complain about people and Ghandia gave her an opportunity to engage in her favourite pasttime.

I think she's an incredibly negative person and quick to believe the worst in people.

It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Helen is used to being around guys, and seems to have no experience dealing with women & gossip. (note, I'm not saying that ALL women gossip, but being a military woman, I'm sure she lacks that experience)

I'm not sure that's the ONLY reason...But it could be part of it.

I absolutely agree with you Miss F.
Helen's abrasive, know-it-all personality must be very grating.
Her first episode vote for Clay - for the stupid monetary reason - showed that she was either left out of the loop or jumped out of it.
She is starting to realise that she needs to have an alliance to protect herself.
I personally feel as though she's chosen the wrong person to ally with.

Actually, I know a lot of women like Helen. Which is very sad.
