I'm not sure why she wanted to be on this type of show.

I really think she had potential, but for some strange reason she's not meshing with the tribe. And that's wierd, because they're all "her type". Young, hotheaded, workaholics, with very few exceptions (I'm lookin' at YOU, Jed!)

I know she's not feeling well, but they haven't shown her spewing at all, and she was strong in the IC, so what gives?

You have to see her audition tape

It's a rather large file, but it's worth it for the first half alone. (particularly for the men )

I guess we should have really gotten the clue when she bought fuzzt slippers as her luxury item that she might not be a "grafter".
She has donre nothing so far to warrant being picked first by Jake.
He was impressed by her physique and thought she had a determined look in her eyes, I don't see it myself.

Being possibly Stephanie's only fan, I decided to ressurect her thread. I can totally see things from her point of view. She sleeps in the rain every night because her tribe mates made such a huge deal about their sad little shack. The morons spent most of the day building the floor first (so they wouldn't get rained on???). I'm not sure they ever got around to finishing the roof because it still leaks. Why they never bothered to build walls is beyond me. If it weren't for Stepanie, the whole tribe would have starved to death the first week & she gets no credit. If I was her, I'd die before I set foot in that shelter. Kudos to Steph for sticking to her guns on that, even if it cost her some sweetie points.

Jodaar, I can see your point, but there's a difference between sticking to your guns and taking it to the point where it costs you the game, and the entire reason you went on the show in the first place, the $1million.

She HAS to realize that her attitude is making her the next boot choice - if she doesn't, then it's her own fault. And if she does, but doesn't care, that's another matter entirely. And in that case, I want to know why the hell she went on the show to begin with.

There is a time and place to be a rebel, but Survivor isn't it. You can't expect to win if you are playing against your own team. Now, I can see Stephanie maybe going to Chew Gum and bonding better over there. She'll probably have more motivation to win just to piss Sook Jai. Now, that would be an excellent plan for Stephanie, imo.

Her tribemates might not like Stephanie's attitude, but they have to admit that she is giving 110% in terms of work & challenges. I think that will be more important in the long run. The fact that she's not part of "the alliance" at this point makes her the least threatening Survivor. Non-threats usually last a while, regardless of likeability. Wayner had a theory that Robb was faking his idiocy. Maybe Stephanie's faking her "attitude" as part of a strategy. I can see the strategic value in both, if they happen to be true.

All I know is that Stephanie is screwed if it came down to a vote today, all because of her attitude. She's #1 on the boot list. There can't be ANY value in doing something that puts you in that position.

And I can't see her doing 110% in terms of challenges, because the last 2 weeks, she's sat out one of the challenges each week.

So, really, she's only giving 50% in terms of challenges, right?
