    Ep. 11: "A Big Surprise...and Another"

    Survivor: Thailand
    A Big Surprise...and Another
The 11th castaway is voted off the island. Jeff Probst is the host.
Thoughts on the meaning of the title?

I can't really think of anything it could be at the moment
The title has plenty of scope.
We do have two weeks to think about it though as next week is the recap episode.

Well we can get our thinking caps on super early for this episode.
We might be able to crack the meaning of the title.

I think after this weeks episode we might get some clues as to what could be in store for episode eleven.

My first instinct is the breaking of an alliance, possibly bought on by whoever felt "sore" at not getting to go on the reward challenge.

Good idea, Fluff...and the fact that there's a suprise and then "Another"...I wonder if the 2nd surprise might be a tie vote at TC? After tomorrow night's episode, there will only be 6 people left, so it could happen...

Aah, I didn't think of that at all. A tie vote would be a surprise as it would mean at least one person had jumped from the Chuay Gahn ship, possibly two if a sook is voted off tomorrow.

    From the official CBS site.

    ON THE NEXT SURVIVOR

The castaways are offered a stunning opportunity that leaves the winner in tears of joy and the losers in tears of pain.

Fallout from Tribal Council inspires harsh words from one castaway, causing others to criticize the outburst.

One castaway faces a critical decision that could alter the entire game.

    Interesting clues from CBS.

Fallout from Tribal Council inspires harsh words from one castaway, causing others to criticize the outburst.
My gut feeling is that this refers to Clay.
I think everyone else would be able to contain any annoyance they felt at Jakes tribal council remarks.
Plus Clay seems to feel he is sitting pretty right now. I certainly think he feels confident enough not to play his cards as close to his chest.

I also feel that, as he went to Penny's wedding, he might have spent time with her at loser lodge meaning he is voted out sooner rather than later.

    My money is on Helen.

I bet she turns on the men of CG and joins up with Jake. I think I'd like to see Helen and Jake in the F2
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Fallout from Tribal Council inspires harsh words from one castaway, causing others to criticize the outburst.
My bet is also on Clay to make the harsh words, and Helen to spearhead the criticism of the outburst.

One castaway faces a critical decision that could alter the entire game.
My money's on Helen, because it really is her decision. Like I said before, her and Jan are right now #4 and #5 in an alliance, but if they team up with Jake and win the tie vote, they're #2 and #3, and guaranteed F3. If they lose the tie vote, they're still back where they started, #4 and #5, with nothing lost.
