i guess ken and penny were closely allied to jake but not to each other.. from what we were shown , ken hardly had any nice words for her

read ken's final words from the cbs site and he mentioned that it was too bad he couldnt win the money to help out the families of the sept 11 victims.. that was so nice of him. all in all , i think he was a great representative of his nypd as he left an honourable man .. wasnt scheming or manipulative.. i feel that he played the game as honest as he could be.

sigh .. i guess this is what we'll be missing out in the weeks to come. boo hoo..

Yes I noticed Erin's hmmmm things, I was worried they were going to explode.

Ken clearly has no map reading skills. But with his body all he would have to do is show a little chest and women would lead him around by the hand.

Brian's wife was what you would expect a guy who did soft porn to marry, wonder if she was in the biz too.

    Exactly.
    Why bother turning on Ted?
They don't see him as an immunity threat, witness the cinversation (Clay and Helen - I believe) where they said he can't swim, he's too big to run etc.
They have plenty of chance to pick him off later if they can get a voting bloc together.

OK, I actually got to see the episode (I was sure I wouldn't )

I am still in shock over Brians wife. Oh my! I actually don't even blame Helen for her "he doesn't need the money" like comments. What did she think she was doing? Who dances like that in front of their kid? I actually had to turn away! She's a silly, silly woman and I actually feel bad for Brian. Poor guy.

Helen's little song was actually nice, whoda thunk it?

Brian's wife was in the biz to Nancy.
That's not much of a shocker after last night's show

nlmcp, Brian's wife was a co-star in a couple of his skinflicks. Her name is CC Costigan if you want to do some looking on the internet...I found some pictures that aren't suitable for posting here. (I imagine all the guys RUNNING to punch that name into search engines...I'll wait...)

Erin's shirt was definitely exceeding safety limits. Did they get even bigger with decent food???

Coming from this colorblind guy (and a large percentage of guys are colorblind), I found it almost impossible to see the blue board with black lettering that Ken had to use during the challenge. I think if he'd have shifted over to using Clay's board instead, he'd have had a better time. I saw him squinting to try to see the board - and when the cameras showed it, I couldn't see it at all. I don't think he was an idiot, I think he just had a hard time seeing, and didn't think to use Clay's sign.

I'm bummed at the vote, because it's apparent that Sooks are going to be pagonged one by one. Unless Jake and Penny really do some work on the ladies of Chewy.

I noticed that Penny seemed to have some hard feelings toward Ken after the vote. She had a look on her face like "don't even TRY to come hug me." Wonder what that was about.

I think you make a good point John.
Ken's board was a lot more difficult to see.

    Some random thoughts.

*Everyone has covered Brian's wife. (Pardon the pun) You could tell Brian was cringing. I thought she was an airhead and also feel sorry for Brian. But I wanted to add, is anyone else getting tired of Clay's constant leering? It's starting to creep me out.

*Why did Jake go to Clay of all people? Just don't understand. He seems the least approachable.

*So sad to see Ken go. I knew he was going when Jeff pulled out 3 Ted's in a row (hello red herring) and Erin's comment that she and Ken were still close.

*Loved the challenges, but poor Ken. I was wondering how he could do so well in the first round and tank in the second. Must have been an eyesight thing.

*Poor Ted. All the guy wants is some peace and alone time, which I'm sure everyone wants, and people turn on him. Makes me very sad. Of the remaining CGs, he's my fave.

*For the first 20 seconds, Helen singing was annoying. Afterwards, I thought it was really touching.

*I always cry when they have these family moments. Jake with the tears raining down his face was hard. So was Ted and his wife and daughter. Penny's husband and his brother are hot!!

*I'd like to see Jake, Penny or Ted win. All are underdogs.

*That Immunity Necklace is UGLY. Hope Clay sleeps in it and he punctures something.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I like Ted too Miss F.
I don't like the idea that little Munchkin Clay is conspiring against him.

    Ted covered his mistake well.

Going off alone without telling anyone was antisocial, and Ted should have at least announced that he was going off on his own to chill out or something.

Ted recovered at tribal council when he told everyone that he thought seeing his baby would make his day, but in fact it just made him miss her more and he was upset that he could not hold her. I think that changed the perception of his behavior from being antisocial to being upset and needing to be alone.

Truthfull or not, it was a good recovery.

He still should not have taken the only boat.
