Reading back through these, it's like the Brian lovefest thread

    I still like him.
He's managed to be the biggest threat on the island and probably the most liked by his team mates.
That's a tricky thing to manage.

I still like him and I think he's going to win. He's smart enough to know that he's got to protect Clay and take him to the F2. He's got Helen and Ted snowed so bad that they won't kick HIM off and Jan... well, is she really a factor?
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I'm really not sure I understand how Brian is going to win this thing....

I doubt VERY seriously he'll get Ted's vote. And if he votes out either Clay or Helen, he definitely loses their vote since they both think their alliance is the strongest with him... So that's 2 votes already out of 7 that I think he has lost for certain....

I dunno Bravo, Brian hasn't really pissed anyone off. Jeff didn't read the final vote, so Ted doesn't know for sure that Brian voted for him. I don't think he pissed off anybody from Sook, as Clay told Jake to vote for Ted. I think if it comes down to Brian and Clay, more people on the jury hate Clay.

Yeah, I think Brian could beat Clay...
But I don't think he could beat anyone else left (Jan or Helen)

I don't think that Brian would get any of the former Sookie's votes unless he were up against Clay - and then I'm not sure about Penny and Erin there - they might vote for Clay. Brian's comment at the TC where they voted off Jake - about how he is voting off people who deserve to go because they aren't contributing when over like the proverbial lead balloon. Penny, Erin and Ken just looked at one another and rolled their eyes.

I just wonder if Jake will tell Ted at loser lodge about who told him that the Chewies were getting rid of Ted. I'm sure Ted's vote would not go to Brian at that point.

    Former 'Survivor' Winner Arrested
    Jul 5, 2:45 PM EST

    The Associated Press

ATLANTA -- A winner of the popular reality show "Survivor" was arrested Wednesday after allegedly shooting a puppy with an arrow.

Brian Heidik, 38, is charged with battery and cruelty to animals. After a pretrial hearing Wednesday morning in Douglas County Magistrate Court, he was released on bond.

During the bond hearing, Heidik told a judge he thought the dog was a coyote that has been harassing his pets, WSB-TV reported on its Web site.

Douglas County Chief Deputy Stan Copeland said it was a puppy.

"At about 3 a.m., his wife called to report that he was outside and that he had shot a puppy that was on his property with an arrow and planned to shoot another one," Copeland said.

When sheriff's deputies arrived, Heidik fled in his car but was quickly caught and taken back to the home where the incident occurred.

Heidik's wife, Charmaine, and 5-year-old son were present at the home at the time of the incident, Copeland said.

Copeland said there was evidence in the home to support a charge of battery for family violence. Because the case is pending, he could not elaborate on the nature of the evidence.

Both the wounded puppy and the second puppy were turned over to animal control officials to determine who they belonged to.

Heidik did not immediately respond to a a message from The Associated Press left on an answering machine at one of two phones listed in his name in Douglasville. There was no answer Wednesday afternoon at the second number. Douglasville is 21 miles west of Atlanta.

Heidik won the $1 million prize as the sole survivor of "Survivor: Thailand," the fifth edition of the CBS adventure game show broadcast from September to December 2002.

He is a former North Carolina State football player, used-car salesman and part-time actor. Heidik's TV acting credits include appearances on "Baywatch Nights," "Doogie Howser, M.D." and the soap opera "Days of Our Lives."

His film credits under the name David Roth include "Chick Street Fighter," and "Virgins of Sherwood Forest," according to IMDB.com, the internet movie database.
