Miss F, I'm thinking TPTB at Survivor would veto the candles choice...could give you an unfair advantage in obtaining fire...esp. if your brought matches along, too...

Candles - yeah that would be a nice touch to make the cave more homey (or is it homely??) - Some nice scented ones perhaps, maybe the ones that come in glass jars? You'll need quite a few though, or the fun would be over after day 2. I'm still waiting for that body paint to come to use!

I think my luxury items would be cards, hair brush and candles.. if that's allowed.
Thanks for the welcome Miss F!

I agree with Lobeck, the candles would probably be vetoed.

I wonder at what some people may have tried to get through the sensors: "I'd like to bring my good luck charm. What? No! Honest, it only LOOKS like Popiel's Pocket Fisherman - I swear!"

    Wayner!

I don't see why some people bring things like........beads, eyeliner, lipstick, slippers. Totally useless IMO.

I don't think the skateboard was THAT bad.
    It could be table.......
Over at RTVT Amai actually came up with about 5 or 6 pretty good uses, but memory fails me.

I bet some people put "stupid" luxury items on their list to make them look more cool/funny/??.

And that toothpick, really, it only LOOKS like a Swiss army knife gadget!

You might get Burnett to approve candles, but only if you told him you were planning to use them for, uh, personal purposes. He likes that sort of stuff.

Don't look at me like that. I'm just putting myself in Burnett's shoes...
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

I kinda think I don't have to, do I? For all we know, Kimmi from S2 already put candles on her list.

"Kimmi's Requested Luxury Items: 1) Empty wine bottle, 2) Cucumber (large), 3) Really long candle."

    OK, I'll shut up now.
