Welcome to the Survivor: Philippines pool! I want to thank everyone who registered to play. We have 15 tribes in the pool. Of those, 6 aligned with Kalabaw, 6 aligned with Tandang, and 3 aligned with Matsing.
When I came up with the scoring for the pool, I hadn’t planned for two tribes winning reward and immunity each week so I’ve decided to give both teams that win immunity the same points since they get the same thing. The first tribe to win reward gets a bigger reward so I’m giving them double points. This week, reward and immunity were the same challenge so I gave the winning tribes points for both.
Tandang came in first and got the biggest reward and immunity. Kalabaw came in second, giving them a smaller reward and immunity.
Abi-Maria and Dawson sat out the challenges.
Penner found an immunity idol.
Russell was the first to speak at tribal council. All of his tribe (Angie, Denise, Malcolm, and Roxy) also spoke at tribal council.
Malcolm was the first to vote.
Angie and Roxy’s votes were shown.
Angie received one vote but Roxy was voted out unanimously by the rest of the tribe.

Ferocious Feline and The Hip-sters had the highest score this week. As a reward, they each get a $100 gift certificate from the Survivor Bed, Bath & Beyond in the Philippines to buy blankets, pillows, tarps and other comforts of home. Plus a freshly-baked batch of chocolate chip cookies to share with another pool tribe of their choice!
Monkey Madness got the lowest weekly score. Their punishment is to spend the night in a cold, leaky tent with no drinking water, no cookies, and no snuggle partner.

As the older, wiser and coolest tribe, the Hip-sters elect to share their cookies with Monkey Madness. We want them mellow and too fat to play well in the next challenge. Hey, we're cool, but also compassionate, sort of.
While bongo drums would have been a bonus for our dances around the campfire, the gift certificate will be used to replace our challenge winnings when they get soaked in the rain.

Who wants to form an alliance & start beating up on the Feline tribe with me? They're old, we can take them. Maybe I'll just pull a Russell & burn their orthopedic socks.

Sigh... I took Roxy as my long shot because the ones I don't like always stick around... the rest of my tribe better hang on a little longer or I'll be out of the running in no time!
On the plus side, I don't have to silently root for her anymore!

You should get extra points cause she's definitely a long shot now. I tought she would be a player, she turned out to be just obnoxious.

Ditto on that :lol She showed so much promise in the first episode. I almost went with Dawson instead...ah well.
