The intent of the male alliances we see each season is not to eliminate all of the women first. The rare exception is when men band together to survive an all-female alliance. On the other hand, the sole purpose of most 'girl power' alliances is to get rid of the men. A practice, as mentioned upthread, that is no longer necessary.Quote:

Nothing at all wrong with retiring at 64 or whenever you want. But considering how long physicians, particularly surgeons, train, and how much most of them seem to love their work, 64 seems a little early to hang it all up (and we don't know whether he actually retired years ago). Some doctors teach at med schools after they stop practicing. Michael Debakey, also from Houston, was a pioneering heart surgeon well into his 80s. I raise the question because Dr. Tarzan seems to have displayed issues relating to memory and emotional control, and I wonder whether similar issues might have come up in his real life.Quote:

I thought I heard Troyzan say he did not trust Mike from the beginning. I believe this is why he was so quick to jump on the bandwagon and vote him off.
