What's wrong with retiring at 64? If he can afford it why not?
Tarzan Smith - Survivor Wiki
He is from Houston, Texas.
Quote:
Personal Claim to Fame: Board Certification in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, receiving a 1st place award for research in reconstructive surgery, playing for “Doug Silvers & the Starliters” as an organ/pianist, 4th place as Campion Missouri State Wrestler Light Heavyweight and a marriage for 30 years to a true “soul mate.”
I think Tarzan is playing everyone.
The intent of the male alliances we see each season is not to eliminate all of the women first. The rare exception is when men band together to survive an all-female alliance. On the other hand, the sole purpose of most 'girl power' alliances is to get rid of the men. A practice, as mentioned upthread, that is no longer necessary.
Kim has absolutely no need for a 'girl power' alliance. She's smarter than most, if not all. She's physically as capable as any of the men. AND, she has a Hidden Immunity Idol. Again, as mentioned earlier, it's a lazy strategy.
Women are not victims, and it's time they started acting accordingly.
A friend posted this on her Facebook page last night...
You are only helpless while your nail polish is wet. Even then, you could pull a trigger if you had to. :)
Nothing at all wrong with retiring at 64 or whenever you want. But considering how long physicians, particularly surgeons, train, and how much most of them seem to love their work, 64 seems a little early to hang it all up (and we don't know whether he actually retired years ago). Some doctors teach at med schools after they stop practicing. Michael Debakey, also from Houston, was a pioneering heart surgeon well into his 80s. I raise the question because Dr. Tarzan seems to have displayed issues relating to memory and emotional control, and I wonder whether similar issues might have come up in his real life.
I forgot Kim had the HI! good for her
Troyzan ...I think he was willing to go ahead and flip to Mike, because he doesn't want to have to play that immunity idol to soon...Kim talked to him about Mike, so if he feels the women will talk to him about who to vote out, he can remain safe...as long as he is given other vote out options, he will feel safe...or he could go home with it in his pocket...LOL
Does that make sense? Haha
I thought I heard Troyzan say he did not trust Mike from the beginning. I believe this is why he was so quick to jump on the bandwagon and vote him off.
