Yeah, he strikes me as pretty damned bitter about women. I don't know what happened to you, guy, but don't paint all of us with the same brush. Geez.
If he'd drop the hatefulness and the "this is MY island" crap, I'd really like him.![]()

I think we were seeing the "primal man" when Troyzan was yelling, etc. I think he's very smart and I'm sorry that the other players were too dumb to realize they needed to shake things up and join him in voting of Kim or Chelsea.

The problem with joining up with Troy and saving him is that you might only get one chance to vote him off...so you need to seize it if you can. The men on the jury would surely vote for him if he made F3---and given the odds he was against he would have deserved it.
I listened to a podcast interview with Troy and he said the men's tribe was all divided and not cohesive at all. Jay and Mike both had alliances they preferred with the women over any they had with the men's tribe. He said that the problem with the men's tribe is that every one wanted to be the alpha male.

Ah, for just one time I would take the Northwest Passage.
Really? Bill? Leif? Jonas? Even Jay, who was all about swaying with the wind (going with the majority)? How odd.... not at all how I saw them.
I thought about those guys, too. I think maybe they weren't "in your face Alpha", but may have still been trying to manipulate/control things. Jay told Colton that he would "protect" him. Bill was brash & funny and gregarious. Jonas did get kind of "in your face" with Tarzan later on, and he took over the cooking and providing. Leif managed to get into the main alliance, at least peripherally.
