I like half of the concept. I like the both tribes on one beach part, but I think the men vs women part ruins the "social experiment" of the one beach part. Needless to say, it'll be different and, therefore, interesting.
Ideally, what I'd like to see is one tribe, one beach. In other words, a "merge" right from the get go.

I agree that men vs women is probably not ideal. Two mixed tribes would be so much better.

I like that they won't be able to (easily) lie about what is happening at the other tribe. Should be harder to sneak around to look for hidden immunity idols. (Whether or not they are used this year, they sort of have to assume they're there somewhere.)

A question - even if everyone is on the same "beach", they could still segregate themselves quite a distance from each other, couldn't they?

Watched all the CVS participant clips this weekend. Looks to be a good group, and a relief no returnees to hog the show.

I agree. Then they could randomly select teams for the challenges. This would really make it more difficult to form solid alliances, and it would create an interesting new dynamic.

Okay, at first I thought it was me being forgetful, I was thinking this was Survivor 24. So I saw "23" and chalked it up to slipping. But it really IS season 24, right? Forum title needs to be changed?
