Why do they pretend a football game is EVER going to end on time? Why don't they just schedule an extra half an hour for it in the first place? God knows they could always fill in any extra time they might have, should the game end close to the time it was supposed to, with talking heads chattering aimlessly about what everyone just watched for the entire afternoon.
