True, but the point and original conversation was regarding Ozzy's "great social game" (my emphasis)...if it were great, it would be different.

I don't think even Ozzy would say he has a great social game. I remember him saying "I played the best social game I could" which as we all have discussed, wasn't that great. He didn't proclaim he has a great social game, and I don't think I did. I agree, Ozzy can catch fish and swim like a dream, but social game? Not really.

But when it comes to Shakespeare, lots of people can quote him...and if Coach has difficulty keeping track of whether Shakespeare or Twain said something, I don't think he's particularly adept at literary quotes. Their styles aren't even remotely the same.

What I'm saying is a lot of Shakespeare is already edited to almost paraphrase anyway, so most people will quote as Coach would.Their styles are different but if you are quoting twain outside of his novels the ideas could be similar..especially literary students who are thrown several works at one on a weekly basis.


Sophie and Coach gave a much better speech than Albert, you could tell by the Jury faces.

Wow, they are ROASTING Coach!! They are calling him on his "honour and integrity" and his Godliness and his complete bull-pucky.
Nobody is buying what he is selling.

LOVED Rick's comments. Loved how he said what he wanted to say and didn't give them a chance (except Sophie really) to defend themselves.

And Brandon OWNED Albert.

Why does Albert think he played a strong social game? Rick didn't like him, and I don't think Brandon may be all that fond of him anymore. The way he sold out Brandon probably hurt his social game with the jury as well.

Love Sophie saying she saw Coach as the equivalent of a young girl.

Okay, I'm loving Rick right about now. I think if push comes to shove, he may vote for Sophie, though.

And here comes Brandon...and forgiving him or not, I don't think he's buying what Coach or Albert are selling anymore.

Quite true. But we've already established that Ozzy hasn't mastered the social game... And that doesn't change the fact that most of his tribe found Cochran to be ... No conforming.

I think he might have been thinking more of how Coach and Albert lied while claiming to be such honorable men, which may be why he gave Sophie more of chance to speak--she never actually claimed to be playing with integrity.
