I think if Cochran were female we might be talking about him differently.
The winner of the China season comes to mind.

I've always taken Cochran's perpetual mentioning his physical weakness as highlighting that he's not a threat in challenges - the old "you're safe keeping me because you can beat me" schtick.
Re: 11/2 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
So Keith goes to Redemption Island. I thought the Survivors would go to the jury now? I really smell a rat now. Too much of a coincidence
for me that Ozzy goes to Redemtpion and then gets returned to the game just in time for the mergre and have the tribe exactly half and half. Yeah right. But I guess I'd rather have that than to see one tribe pick off the other like the last 5 or 10 seasons. That's going to happen anyway, it just got delayed one episode.
Re: 11/2 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
I am so sick of floaters getting the win because one person flips and one tribe is taken out one by one by one. I wish they would just have one big tribe from the beginning, and have individual immunities from the beginning. The merge and the purge of one tribe is getting old. I feel for Jim who actually had some great ideas and was playing the game getting on the purge side and most likely going just because someone flips, and than Albert and Sophie getting on the side that someone flips to and just standing around and most likely getting to the end and possibly the win. This show needs some new angles, it is getting stale.

This has been going on since the beginning, Season One. The team with the smaller numbers at the merge was the Pagong tribe, and they were picked off one by one. Coleen was the last one voted out, and she stated at Tribal Council, "I'm the last of my kind," knowing that she was the next to go. From that time on, "pagonged" entered the urban dictionary and is still used to describe this.

There is no more Redemption Island once the merge happens. There are 11 players left. Normally there are 9 jury members. Therefore a final 2 not a final 3. Jeff also always announces who the first member of the jury is.
Re: 11/2 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
I'm pretty sure Keith was sent to Redemption Island, awaiting a chance to return to the game. They even showed him "settling in" there and talking about who had betrayed him. (Cochrane, obviously)
Maybe you've all figured this out long ago, and I'm really stupid, but it just occurred to me a couple of days ago that Cochrane is John Cochrane ..... Johnny Cochrane, lawyer! Oi!

Right, that's what I thought too but when Keith was voted out, Jeff said he was going to Redemption Island.

I saw a preview that said Keith was sent to Redemption Island.
Re: 11/2 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
Oh, I must of missed that because I was dancing with joy that Keith had been blindsided. Well, we will all know in 2 days.
