I think it's admirable to give to charity. I also think that it's somewhat reprehensible to criticize another's choice of charity.

I used to like Ozzie, admired his physical abilities and he seemed like an ok kind of guy. I can see how he could be attractive to a lot of people. But as his God-complex continues to grow, I find him not looking as good.

To each his own when it comes to charity but I, for one, could think of a lot of different types of chairty work that would benefit those kids a lot more than skateboarding. It hardly taxes the brain to come up with something that would be more needed for children in Mexico than learning to skateboard and I have no problem stating my views on his choice of charity.
Wonder how well it's still doing and what his involvement is to this day.

As for his venture into porn, it can definitely be said that we all make stupid choices when we're young but how many of us went down that extreme road?
Nope, don't like the guy much at all.

I was just trying to be funny but if that is the worst thing I do this week, then it is not a terrible week.

A very nice comment from Dawn about Ozzy (in the secret scenes transcript, on survivorfever) :

"The other moment for me came...in the early part of the game, I couldn't understand Ozzy. He was the person that was more difficult for me to read. I felt like I had a good read of people on the tribe, but having watched previous returning players, I didn't want to trust Ozzy at all. And he's so confident and so capable, I probably held back from getting to know him. We had a challenge, the wheelbarrow challenge, where I really struggled. It was heavy, and I wasn't orienting the wheelbarrow right. He was so kind, and got us through that, not obstacle course, but through our side. I just gained this immediate sense of appreciation for him, that he's really just playing his heart out, and he's a good guy. He's playing, it's a game, but I saw all that kindness in him, and I had an immediate affection for him. Up until then, I wasn't sure how I felt about him, but from that point on, all I could see was that I have a lot to learn from him about how to give everything you have, every minute. I feel like I learned the most from Ozzy about challenging yourself and staying calm when there's stress."

That's what I saw this week, during the duel with Cochran. Instead of getting flustered when his ball fell through and Jeff was yelling at how Cocrhan was making incredible moves and catching up, Ozzy stayed calm and focused. I still like him, always have. Doubt he will win if he makes it back, but I think he's definitely one of my favourite Survivors ever.

Ozzy definitely got upset when his tribe lost the team challenges, but I think it's because he always gives his all and doesn't understand when others don't or when his all-out effort doesn't guarantee success.

Makes me like Ozzy more. As he wants his tribe to give it their all. Yeah didn't like him posing for Playboy or what. But still, you have to admit, he is beating everybody in this challenges at RI.

I actually think that it's a good thing that charitable impulses are directed to a multitude of diverse causes.

ETA: Still doesn't mean I like Ozzy, though.
And isn't Ethan Zohn's charity having to do with soccer? I actually think a charity involving kids and activities that don't have to do with drugs and gangs are a really good idea!

I agree. I'm not one to dismiss any charitable idea that will give kids a healthy and positive outlet for their energy and a cool place to spend their time.

When you listen to Ozzy talk about skateboarding at the reunion about learning to fall and get up I understand why he wanted to build a skatboarding park for kids.
