I don't think others trust him enough to enter into any plan with him. He is unpredictable and blabs. Not a good combo for a tricky maneuver.

And I think he is genuinely skewed; this is no act.

He does seem to have his moments of clarity. I still think he's mainly abit off his rocker though.

Nah, he's CCFCP (Coo-Coo for Cocoa Puffs). He makes Coach's rants from the Tocantins season look lucid and sane in comparison.

The man also desperately needs to a) learn how to pronounce "Ometepe" and "Zapatera", and b) learn that the definition of "stealth" is "secret". Something can't be stealthy when your fool trap is flapping away, drawing attention to it.

I have to admit that I am REALLY beginning to enjoy Phillip. Is he truly nuts? I don't know. But, he makes for GREAT TV! You never know what's going to come out of his mouth...

He can be entertaining, but I wanted to smack the smug off his face last night at both tribals.

I've come to enjoy Phillip's antics. He seems to be one of those strange people that walks a fine line between brilliance and weirdness.

Watching him, you realize he does pick up on most things/strategies/motives. Previously, I had taken him for just a big joke and Survivor's resident quirky guy but he seems to be aware of a lot that's going on, and just as you think maybe he's sane, he does something that shows he's not!

He definitely is our comic relief for the show and now that his tighty-pinkies are no longer in view, I can just enjoy The Great Phillip Roller Coaster.

I'll take him over super big ego, mean, ruthless Russell any day.

A friend suggested Phil Sheppard may just be an actor. Makes more sense to me than his claim he was a federal agent.
