I agree. He acted like he knew he had it in the bag. Very unbecoming. However, given this final 3, there was no other choice. He won the last three challenges, he deserved it I guess. I hate to see a kid win $1M, though. Potentially disastrous ...

Fabio knew he had the votes to win. Why not be confident of that? I dont think he acted in any way different than most people would have at that time. It is one million dollars.

ummm, Jeff? No one cares what Naonka has to say.

Again, wouldn't it be fun if NaOnka thought she was going to get a lot of airtime only to have Jeff say, just as she opened her mouth, "Oh, I'm sorry, NaOnka. Quitters don't get to join a conversation they voluntarily left."

Oh, and I agree that Fabio looked better with long hair, and I hardly ever think that. But maybe he wanted to go back to being Jud instead of Fabio and figured cutting his hair was the fastest route away from being called Fabio.

I'm honestly sort of surprised it was that close, considering how stupidly Chase played the game.

I also suppose this is rather silly, but I'm also happy that Fabio won, because I figured he'd be the funniest to listen to after the win, and so far, he's not disappointing me. His relatives invented color wheel and the folding chair? I love it! I don't even care if it's true. I love that he believes it is.

If he actually does want to take care of his mom and dad. He seems very close to his mom, so she may step in and advise him. If her advice is good, he'll probably be okay.

Plus, as you say, there wasn't really much choice. Of the three, he probably did play the best overall social and physical game. In a way, simply trying not to tick people off was a decent strategy for him too.

It didn't look confident to me, it looked cocky. Not a good choice for a winner, either before OR after the votes are read.

Look, he was up against a snake in the grass and the guy that was dumber than a bag of hammers (Marty was right!). Jud was the obvious winner. But it makes him look better if he shows a little respect to his competitors for the game they played, that's all.

Okay, I'm very much an upper midwesterner, so maybe it's just me, but is anyone else having trouble understanding Chase when he sings?
