Was everyone SO BLINDED by her missing leg that they didn't notice her six pack???

And why pity someone who is missing something that was most obviously and spectacularly overcome? They shouldn't think "poor girl with a missing leg will be competing in events", they should be thinking "poor whoever has to compete against her in events because she'll be kicking butts on a FUBAR level"!

I was also surprised that everyone just assumed Kelly (that's her name, right? I'm terrible with names) would get a sympathy vote in the finals before they really had a chance to get to know her. Now, she seems very nice so far, but for all they knew, she was going to be really snotty or bitchy or whiney or whatever. I'd think that would outweigh any sympathy she might get for having a birth defect that she seems to be managing very well. If I remember correctly, there was a woman on the Amazing Race who had a prosthetic leg, and I didn't like her because of her personality. I didn't feel that her disability outweighed her attitude in terms of sympathy, though, of course, there isn't really a sympathy factor on AR.

I'm also thinking Kelly would be rolling her eyes to hear everyone going on about how terrible it is that she only has one leg. I suspect she's there, at least in part, to show them that a disability does not make one an automatic human tragedy.

I don't like when they pit older team vs. younger. It's not fair in the physical challenges. If I was there I'd be on the older team so I am rooting for them.
So far I am disappointed. They are focusing too much time on Jimmy just because he's a famous coach. JMO.
Some guy had a prosthetic limb in one of the past seasons so Kelly having one is not something new on Survivor.

Sort of paying half-assed attention, but I noticed that the older people tended to have "normal" names, whilst the younger people tend to have goofy names. What the hell is a Benry?

His name is Ben Henry, Benry is his nickname, probably some childhood garble of his name by himself or a sibling, I'd guess.

The thing with Kelly (that's her name, right?) is that she's lived with one leg her WHOLE life. She's adjusted to it by now and there should be no sympathy when it comes to the vote so I don't buy that. I really do love her attitude about it though.
